I feel like this was probably Idea Guy lore that went under the radar until now for whatever reason.

You need to watch Metokur's Internet Insanity episode on Randy Stair. He was obsessed with becoming a setsy cartoon ghost girl after his death. Okay, it's post-mortem gender dysphoria, but it still counts. Also, he seemed to be trying to feminise himself as much as possible beforehand without HRT or surgery (extreme depilation involving liquid latex, for starters).
