Did he seriously use grocery shopping as an excuse?! Like, there are 4 or 5 grocery stores right by the post office in Charlottesville. Hmmm

I am not even sure if "grocery shopping" is a better or worse excuse than "stress."
Excuses he's used for not supplying goods have included grocery shopping, household chores, looking after Barb and spending time with his girlfriend. I don't know how he thinks people with jobs manage to exist.

Yeah, but how many of those has he been banned from?

I'm expecting Chris to slowly take longer and longer to fulfil his rewards every month until the whole thing just becomes too much stress and he gives up on Patreon. You can already see some signs in how his Patreon income has declined by near a quarter from last month, that a few people are getting tired of his nonsense and I'm expecting the decline to continue for the rest of the year.

It's kind of sad how he manages to mess up any good money making opportunity that gets handed to him on a silver platter eventually because he refuses to factor in the cost of fulfilling his orders and doesn't understand the importance of delivering something that was promised to his customers. Patreon probably represents his last chance to do something to earn the money foolish people online are willing to throw at him

Each time he messes up, people still give him money for sitting on his ass and doing nothing

It's pretty funny that people are thinking he's going to do something other than sit there like a fat lard.
DON'T SEND MONEY TO CHRIS. HE WILL RIP YOU OFF.

how many times do people need to be told this?
Heh, I don't know dude. Some people really seem to want their signed Sonichu comics.

It sucks to get one, it'll take awhile and you're going to need to deal with dogshit customer service in the process. But I guess that's some people's thing.

Im pretty sure he shops at the food lion right near his house on 29. Plus he's not including all the time it takes for him to play with toys all day. Chris treats adult responsibilities like homework when you're in 2nd grade, where you can just not do it and make pisspoor excuses like my dog ate it and the teacher will just roll her eyes.

He has no concept of cashflow. He spends the money as soon as he gets it, before the job is done. That's why he gets into so many problems. As soon as the money hits his pocket he spends it all without doing the books on how much he needs to save to fufill the costs of doing business.

It's weird cuz he's cheap af when it comes to all aspects in his life (food, shelter, clothing), but when it comes to toys he can spend big. He's like an alcoholic who spends all his money at the bar, or a gambling addict who spends all his money at the track, but lives in squalor. Except his vice is.... toys?

I just mean that he hasn't sent out any of the "bonus" stuff he promised.
I know it'a against eBay TOS, so no one can complain about it, but that's pretty scummy
To offer stuff he has no way of fulfilling... I know, we all know it's Chris and expect this, but say some random saw his sale and bought into it.

I just want to see what he does next.

I have no idea why anyone would even want one. Like, are people going to show it off to others and have them automatically assume they are special?

I've thought about it, just because it seems like it would be fun to own a weird little piece of internet history.

What I always come back to is the fact that anything you buy from Chris will have been in Chris' house, and God only knows what nastiness will come with it.

No? I'm pretty sure he is sending stuff out. He just constantly makes deadlines and never meets them, and only ultimately sends out stuff when customers pester him.

Like, we haven't heard anything more about the tshirts, and I haven't seen any pictures of dipshits on twitter wearing them, but I swear I've seen a few printed comic books in the past few months.

Honestly, I don't care that people are giving Chris money, so much as I dislike that they give Chris money for products, and don't follow up on them. Put some stress on Chris. It's the only way he'll get off his ass and do work. If Chris is going to get a few hundred bucks a month, make him hustle for it.

Either you get your products and Chris develops a work ethic, OR Chris starts whining about stress all over the internet. Either option sounds good.

I guess it sounds like a weird bit of internet history if you squint at it the right way. In theory.

In practice, I would imagine a comic arrives in the mail and it ends up being the same crappy jpegs from archive.sonichu.com, printed by lulu or whichever.

Bragging rights. Some people think that interacting with a public figure in any form somehow validates them.

Some people fixate on celebrities. Others are going to target people like Chris, who is probably more likely to respond to them than some of the biggest stars out there.

And some people just get off on getting involved with a human train wreck's life.

theres at least one person on this forum that has been pestering him to come through with what chris promised, this is from a sale about 7 months ago when he was offering all that shit
it was in the ebay listing, he HAS to followthrough or he will get banned from yet another place.

Oh, I know he's failed to send stuff out before, and he ultimately just gave up on sending it out at all. I think that's what happened with the tshirts. But again, no one bothered him about the tshirts. But I'm pretty sure he's been sending out the comics.

Someone hasn't received an ebay sale? Couldn't they just report Chris to ebay?
