much :autism: (meme, at least) but has made it work, and even has an appropriately strange wife (and kids, maybe, I haven't followed in years.) I've picked some strips that I think subtly indicate what I mean but I stumbled across them somewhat arbitrarily and realized it was working... all that said, I might be injecting a broader reading into them, the art example (from someone who didn't grow up aspiring to be an artist, stands.) At its heart, his comic is still mostly four frames for him to insert dialogue about his autistic interests, but he has noticeably gotten much better, and clearly has increased the effort and investment in his work as time has gone on. I wouldn't want Sonichu to not be Chris' weird interpretations of his life and fantasies, just better.
Last century, the wacky left felt less wacky, even the ones drawing furry-esque comics which often (but not constantly) ree'd about GWB /old man has nostalgic feels)

I like how he has to give us the unnecessary history of his Ditto. That Ditto has more background development than some of the more recent characters in his comics like the Hispanic lesbian.

That's always confused me too. Like Nintendo and the Pokemon Co. are way more likely to sue someone over IP than SEGA. Nintendo has a pretty good track record of doing just that. But for some reason Chris is hung up on retconning and wiggling he way around using SEGAs characters. I wonder if this goes back somehow to when he first created Sonichu or something Bob told him.
