Redditor claims to have discovered that Chris is actually part Cherokee on his father's side after all:
After researching Bob's side of the family, I discovered that Chris does have an Actual Cherokee Ancestor.
"Polly "Cherokee Mother" Cherokee (abt 1703 to 1790) was the 7th great-grandmother of Chris and Chris's actual Native American Ancestor, she was the wife of Joshua Odum (1700 to 1745) and had one daughter Melissa Talivia Odum. She was born in the Cherokee territory of South Carolina.
The line of descent is as follows.
Polly Cherokee (1703 to 1790) - > Melissa Talivia Odum (1720 to unknown) - > Mary Brigman (1755 to 1822) - > Druscilla Dearman (1778 to 1870) - > Curtis Teer (1807 to 1886) - > William Teer (1837 to 1919) - > Mary Frances Teer (1873 to 1914) - > Jean Hollomon (1906 to 1945) - > Robert F. Chandler Jr (1927 to 2011) - > Christian Weston Chandler (1982 - )"
Chris was actually correct all along... This is probably the biggest find I have ever done to date on his family

What a fucking horrible day to be a Cherokee
...
I mean, I'm not Cherokee but I can't even imagine their suffering

Some of those Names sound suspiciously Jewish...especially since they Lack 2 N's and Two S's, I also seen Multiple DNA Tests which shown small percentages of Siberian in there aswell, (He has that thing where His Results come up different most of the Time) even though the Cherokees and even the Spics,Mexcrements all came here from the Polar Ice Caps and Land Bridge anyway so..

That's 9 generations back, so Chris is 1/512ths Cherokee
The fucked up thing is, I believe the Cherokee don't have a blood quantum requirement. Meaning if you can prove with the Dawes Rolls that your ancestor was Cherokee, you can join the tribe so he could technically claim to be a part of the Cherokee Nation and not be lying. Excuse me while I kill myself.

Just wanted to confirm it and yep
"The Cherokee Nation does not require blood quantum to become a citizen. Instead, citizenship is based on having a direct ancestor listed on the Dawes Rolls as a citizen of the Cherokee Nation"

This makes him 1/512th Cherokee, if correct. That's equivalent to being ~0.195 % Cherokee. That falls way below the minimum blood quantum to claim to be any kind of "Native American" even using the 1 drop rule (which cuts off at 1/128.) Can Chris say he has Native American ancestry, yes, in the broadest sense possible. Can he say he is a "Native American" in any sense of the term? No. Even using the loosest established definition, he is two generations too far removed. The last person in his family tree that could claim to be "Native American" using the loosest definition of the term would be Chris's paternal grandmother.
