Containment Random Chris Updates

Wow. Anyone have any ideas how to distill this insanity for the CWCki's Da Update? This is what I have so far.

*8 November - Sliding further into delusion over [[Hyperdimension Neptunia]], Chris describes how he has been possessed by a video game goddess after [[Magi-Chan]] suggested that his Sega Dreamcast console had a great power residing in it, prompting Chris to focus his [[Chris and reality|psychic power]] onto it and draw the goddess into his body.
I like what you have so far, but that's just me.

So I think we can all agree whether we believe or don't believe he has skitzophrenia that a word that would fit the whole unclit belief he had would be "delusional"

he was delusional, afterall

you can be delusional for many, many different circumstances

just to name a few...

1) not doing research, even common sense research (e.g. ask someone/anyone if that's how ducks and china work)
2) choosing to believe whatever you want to believe despite knowing damn well what the facts are (e.g. aka being ignorant, or pretending)
3) being wrongly persuaded on something you had knew was right (not this example in his case)
4. i guess doing certain classes of mind altering substances

So, I don't think he's skitzo.

one last thing compare him to terry or taxman. the difference it feels way different. for one thing, that magi-chan thing came straight outta his comic, didn't it? So, Chris might not be a scholar, but we know damn well he knows something he drew with his hands on paper isn't currently all of the sudden an actual, living creature thing.
In addition to what I wrote earlier in this thread about the sudden revelations about Chris's delusions, I think there's an element of Confirmation bias is in play here, I am not trying to be hostile to people, but I think a sizeable amount of posters here have already concluded that Chris is Schizophrenic before seeing actual evidence.

My personal opinion is that we can't tell for sure whether he is a schizo or not, because only a few of us interacted with him directly, but I am leaning towards him not being one based on past experiences, and evidence that he is not very similar to actual Schizocows we cover here (Like Terry Davis for example).

What's the consensus on this - is he making it up or has he gone off the deep end?

He's been off the deep end since 2010 at the latest.

He's obviously delusional as fuck and completely nuts, but he'll probably just shit himself and do nothing as usual. It's not like this will impel him to go outside or anything.

If he goes full murdertard and kills someone it will be Barb.

@The American Hedgehog, Is this comment by the 'real' Jessica? The account seems to go back to 2014.

We were fighting a common foe, Uzume's twin, Kurome; big trouble. I've had to fight her to get her out of my head. But I realized later I was already immune to her possession by having Uzume inside me. To keep our local homes safe, we've shared Uzume's power with everyone in the state of Virginia, here, as well as in and around the city of Cwcville. The vaccinating jolt is spreadable through any communication method or by touch and close contact with another individual. So, surely and swiftly, the whole United States and this world will all be immune to Kurome's possession.

Chris this is your worst attempt at convincing a girl to sleep with you yet! All this bullshit just for that...

I think I can parse PART of that insanity.

Chris is confusing the whole split personality some of the characters in Neptunia have with actually being a different person, and it's heavily implied many of those 'split personalities" are merely downplayed or hidden qualities of the original that their CPU forms merely bring to the surface.

Also, I see he has utterly mangled the original plot of Megadimension VII, which has Uzume Tennouboshi (the personification of the Dreamcast) having to fight off her evil counterpart Kurome Ankokuboshi. According to the lore, they were two halves of the same whole, one representing the Dreamcast's potential, one representing how it failed miserably as a console against its competitors.

In canon, Kurome does have some form of mind control powers, but it's more along the lines of her basically mind breaking someone with utter hopelessness and driving them crazy.

As for that line "The vaccinating jolt is spreadable through any communication method or by touch and close contact with another individual.", um, wow, he really does think he can be a psychic mind beacon against mind control like he thought his blood could cure gayness.

I could only bear to read a few sentence of that before realizing that continuing would make me stupid. This is beyond the badness of Sonichu. This isn't cute or clever or anything. Call me an "a-log" if you must, but this is a load of horse hockey. It stinks.

Chris is not crazy like people are saying. His mental state and upbringing have made prone to fantastic thoughts and ideas. He has no real life to speak of so fantasy is becoming more and more of his life. He has always shown a predilection for magical thinking. This is the continuation of that.

I'm trying to wrap my head around this, guys, I really am. But I got absolutely nothing. Zapped by a Dreamcast? Posessed by a video game goddess? Wearing an MLP character as a vest to Pokémon League to help "him" blend in?
A lot of people have been saying Chris might be schizophrenic or that Jessica "broke" him, but I doubt that's the case. It sounds like he's just really lonely & getting a little too carried away with his imaginary friends.

@Marvin, do you have any insight as to why Chris is diving so deeply into his imaginary world? Is there something going on with Barb or any RL friends that's causing him to retreat from reality?

Shit-posting aside, isn't he still in financial trouble? Could this be the breaking point where Barbara loses her shit and tells off Chris in a fashion that drove him to retreat deeper into wonderland?

I know it's a stretch but I'm working with what we got here.
