Containment Random Chris Updates

In fact, I think if you worded it carefully, you could probably even get Chris to even stop pretending to see/hear his imaginary friends, by telling Chris he's inches away from involuntary commitment in a mental hospital for his insanity. I do think (again, with careful wording) Chris would stop pretending even to himself to hear his imaginary characters.
That's exactly how that one kacey call I always reference went down. Kacey told him his talk of "dark personality Christopher" sounded like a sign of an aneurysm or something else gravely serious, and dark Christopher immediately stopped acting tough and said "hold on, I'll get christian back" as if he was mundanely handing the phone to someone else, and we didn't hear him trying to shock people with his personality change again.

This shit is harder to follow than The Silmarillion
"Ayway, ughh yeah.. Most of my characters have god powers, and um, yeah, ayway, I can change the powers as I like. And um, yeah, everybody is related to the main characters.. Among which, they live in a place that's basically my hometown.."

-J R R Tolkien 1962

However, none of this keeps Chris from being a danger to himself or others. It would just require a tense situation for him to play pretend a bit too aggressively, and (say) get his ass beat by cops.
Didn’t he pepper spray someone because sonic’s arms aren’t blue? And didn’t he run over someone because he thought there was a huge conspiracy preventing him from going to a game shop? None of what Cris is saying or doing is going to make him less dangerous. This is the same guy who evaded cops after pepper spraying someone. Next time he does it, he’s just going to say “Well um, da waifu in mah head told me!” He’s trying to make himself less responsible for any actions he takes.

It is possible at this point that Chris could be developing a blood clot in his brain. We all remember his recent chimpout where the side of his face was showing a prominent droop. Hallucinations would be a sign that his brain isn't receiving enough oxygen or there's some kind of pressure in his skull and lord knows his diet would support that theory.

Of course that's just as valid an idea as anything else in this thread. Only time will tell.

Chris offers emotional support to @Doopie and the LazyCast group.

I'd fuck Green Heart :autism::autism::autism:

But yeah, where does this leave GodBear and Jesus? Are they working with the console goddesses or are they dead since church oppressed Chris by asking him to remove his unicorn cosplay during a prayer for Charlottesville?
Vert is a fujoshi, so expect yaoi in Sonichu.

Chris is an emotional thinker. If he wants something to be true or FEELS like it should be true, then it will take a LOT of evidence to convince him otherwise. The problem is Chris' lifestyle enables him to go down these rabbit holes without anyone calling him out on his bullshit. He doesn't have to go to work and explain to his colleagues he missed his deadline because the previous evening he had to use his psychic powers to defend CWCville. Even children learn the limits of how far they can take "playing pretend". A child running into the road because they think they're Superman are either going to end up dead or having their parents put the fear of living God put into them for pulling such a stunt. Chris has just been left to his own devices in this regard for over a decade. Any dissenting voices on the matter get labelled as "trolls" so he can stay in his fantasy land.

I can only see this getting worse. Chris' present life sucks. Previously he's tried to escape it by regressing to his past (the obsession with the galpals) or holding onto the blind faith that his future would magically turn out how the Godbear promised. Over the years he's learned that the past is impossible to recreate (and most of it was a lie anyway) and now he's 35, it's probably getting hard even for him to believe his prophesied future is going to come to pass. The only place he has left is his fantasy land. He's going to fight tooth and nails to protect it; if he looses this then he finally has to accept his entire existence is nothing more than sitting in a cat shit invested pile of LEGO.

I just read it as a new story arc he's thinking about, only he's dreadful at story-telling and can only 'create' anything by cramming together stuff he's familiar with.
Except the odd thing is that Sonichu and the world of CWCville have remained fairly constant for a long time. CWCville has always been populated by Chris's Sonic-Pokemon mashups and the real-life "villains" Chris encounters, along with a slight inclusion of Transformers in the form of Son-Chu.

I understand that Chris's autistic mind latches onto whatever his new favorite thing is and his hyperfocus makes his interest all-consuming. However, it's only been recently that we've started seeing Chris including other franchises/properties in CWCville. Even though he's been a fan of MLP for 10+ years, it was only post-BronyCon/Quinn that MLP had a strong presence in CWCville. I can't recall hearing Chris mentioning Neptunia before, so it strikes me as odd that it has entered into his fantasies so strongly.

tl;dr - For whatever reason, Chris seems to be reinforcing and strengthening his fantasy world recently. I don't want to speculate why but (as other posters have pointed out) it stands to reason that Chris may be less happy with how his real-life situation is worsening.

I don't think that Marvin is disagreeing here, what he's saying is that all those incidents required Chris to first get himself into an especially tense mental situation.

I realize this is obvious as fuck, but Chris is just not someone who handles real life stresses well, between him trying to escape into his own little fantasy dimension & angrily lashing out at people and things indiscriminately. The thought of actually confronting and solving his real-life problems head-on never occurs to his mind at all. Nor is it suggested by people who are supposed to be his wranglers, whether it was Bob, Barb, or even Rocky way back when.
