eBay Description:

"Hey, y’all. This is my own PokeWalker with custom painting on the front to make it look like an S-Chu Ball from my “Sonichu” book series. There is no game included, but it still has a Spikey-Ear Pichu on it. Its battery has just been replaced. My signature is on the back panel, it includes a personal Certificate of Authenticity, and will be sent in a bubble envelope. A Lovely One-Of-A-Kind Item from Myself, the Author and Chronicler of Sonichu, personally. Complete with attached KK Slider Charm.

Even without a HeartGold or SoulSilver game, this item is still fun to play the mini-games with."

I'm sure this has been mused upon before... but I've never understood the "certificates of authenticity" he always includes with these things... Does he seriously think a half crumpled piece of paper he assumedly just scribbled his name and the word "authentic" on in crayon is a selling point for any of the people :autism: enough to buy this? (or any of the other pieces of trash he dredges up from the hoard and decides to sell.)

Or am I totally wrong, and it actually is...?

Franklin Mint and HSN include that with all their "investment piece" collectables that are going to be worth a fortune someday because there are so many bootleg NASCAR collector's plates floating around that Christie's is going to need that certificate in 20 yeas when they auction it for you.

eww that think looks gross

I honestly stopped caring so much about weens giving him money for his toys, but the one thing thats twitching me is how he keeps thinking he needs a "Certificate of Authenticity" with all his toys as if he's the Franklin Mint or something.

Never mind the $100 price tag for a fad gimmick that was only compatible with HGSS, like 3 generations ago.
