Ironically the only time Chris ever followed anybody’s advice in full, was when that advice was to complete debase himself.

On one hand, Chris is too lazy to make any significant change in his life, even if it will better him. On the other, he’s extremely gullible and can be manipulated into shit like shoving a clay medallion up his ass. Real tossup.

I'd say stop feeding his delusions but that would require e everyone on the internet to stop making fan art/characters. Chris has found a way to claim everyone as a follower of his bs idea guy inspired religion whether they want to or not.

I don’t disagree with either of you I know how deeply lazy Chris is. I wouldn’t expect it to work honestly but I still figured it’d be worth trying if it hasn’t been done before in a very specific l, enabling, and ego stroking way. I mean maybe it has already I don’t know but since Chris has developed these delusions everything has always been about them and either his orbiters enabling them and the guard dogs and other orbiters decrying them. I just wonder if someone like @Marvin (if they’re still even in touch on this level) would allow Chris to live in his fantasies or even enable them like his orbiters do, but do so with the intent on getting Chris to just do something positive for his audience. Even if it’s not the comic but some of the other suggestions like short vlogs about his life and even the merge.

I know it’s probably unlikely but I do think there would be at least a chance if the right person used the right approach that they could convince Chris to at least give short video updates on the merge. Saying something like ‘people’s belief in the merge is rooted in their belief in you as a CPU goddess and seeing your face will dramatically increase their faith and bring new people to the reality of the merge.”

Not that I want to hear more merge shit but since he’s so obsessed with it it’d probably have to be something like this. Even still I would gladly take more merge update videos vs his stupid bullshit on Twitter

The problem with using Chris' beliefs to manipulate him in a positive way is that someone can always come along and manipulate him in the same way. If you're telling him "the merge is real, btw to get it to happen you need to get a job and clean yourself up", someone can always come along and say "the merge is real, btw you don't need to get a job, but you do need to draw dicks on the wall and lick them".

The latter is way easier.

Using Chris' beliefs, even if it's nominally for a good end, just reinforces them and leaves the window open for someone else to take over.

The only way Chris can be helped now is IRL intervention.

Now, in the past, you definitely could troll Chris into improving his life. I disagree when people use Clyde et al as an example of someone trying and failing to help Chris improve his life. Maybe they were genuinely trying and they were simply naive, but the fact of the matter is: you can't persuade Chris into improving himself. All Clyde was doing was arguing with Chris because it's fun/interesting. Not because arguing can actually help Chris.

Chris can only be persuaded by actually experiencing negative consequences. You can't reason him into agreeing that getting a job is better than playing with toys 24/7 if he hasn't experienced evidence of that personally.

And honestly? Weirdos asspat him online and throw money at him. He has no reason to get a job based on his experiences.
