I'm not sure if that's true or at least something he'd admit to, Chris's ego is so big he acts like anything done by him is intrinsically more valuable than anything done by anyone else, I'd be really suprised if Chris admited a piece of fan art was better than his original art.

He might even save (mercy kill) you from the rubble of his own doings, if it doesn't inconvenience him otherwise and you didn't happen to slight him over the internet before.
