This shit isn't going to be good, no matter how much they make sonic look like his actually design; the movie is still going to use the dated 2010s trope of fictional character goes to our world for some crazy shenanigans and high-jinks and the main character says goodbye to them or they stay in our world.

Random Thought: I wish it were possible to lock down Chris's online presence and his forum here on the Farms until Barb dies. That's the only thing we're looking forward to anyway. Everything else that happens and is posted is unpalatable filler until then.

Personally? A little from column A and a little from column B. Barb is a terrible excuse for a human being and I don't think anyone will be shedding tears on her behalf once she finally decided to croak. She's worthless. Her entire life was worthless and aimless.
Chris will be truly fucked when that day comes however, and as much as I laugh at his stupidity and dislike his asshole, narcissistic tendencies, I'll still feel some amount of empathy for. I can't laugh at anyone who had just lost a parent, and knowing the downward spiral Chris' life will take after her passing makes it harder to find any humor in the situation.

Like @Autumnal Equinox said, it'd be a mix of both. Barb is a genuinely horrible person who did more than anyone else to ruin Chris's chances at a decent future (aside from Chris himself, of course) and unlike Bob, nobody likes her at all. But we all know that Chris would be devastated and we'd feel bad for him, and I'm sure we might see the Farms do something to help him like the care package that was sent after the fire.

Despite being the blueprint for the incel mindset in the Classic years, Chris has never been part of the incel scene and lost most of his interest in sex after he fucked the hooker, and any lingering sex drive has been killed by the hormone pills.
