It'll be really funny, both of us will be normal humans and then we can relax as every single thing in the multiverse will kick the crap out of that fattys fat ass. Chris will just stress sigh... And the he thinks the merge requires some work.. And the he shits and does nothing and dies.

Not since he originally announced that it had begun on November 18 of last year and would conclude at the stroke of midnight on New Year's Day 2019. When that didn't happen, he started backpedaling and claiming it had been delayed by "red tape", whatever the hell that's supposed to mean in this context. As of now, he's yet to set a solid completion date for the merge, so at this point he's just a really, really autistic version of Harold Camping.

What would happen if Bob helped/allowed Chris to get a hooker? Would that have made him less desperate/naive?

I'm guessing that she probably wouldn't have given a good goddam. So many minutes of Chris humping away at some luckless prossie would be so much more time for her to simply relax, let the Chandler Cats trundle over her, await the sweet embrace of Death, and eat a few nutritious nanners in peace.
