Am I the only person to have my thougths reached that, given the case of Chris, IQ actually may not be a good parameter for measuring the human functionality? I mean, the doctor who met young Chris three decades ago must have diagnosed him with "High Functioning Autism" after he measured that at least his IQ is within the normal range, and yet the fact is that Chris might actually be among the least functional human beings to have ever lived on the surface ot this planet.

IQ doesn't mean anything. Emotional maturity is a lot more important. How mature, adaptable, stable and tolerant you are. Chris is none of those, he has the emotional maturity of a 4 year old and the adaptability and tolerance of a dead leaf. He shuts down or mentally regresses in the face of even minor change and is highly amused by even the most mundane, redundant stimulation. Not to mention his maladaptive daydreaming.
This is most likely a combination of habit due to his upbringing and could also possibly be due to brain abnormalities such as a smaller amygdala. But really there's probably way more wrong with him than just that.

Have you seen the quality of some of those? Actually, I was looking at an article detailing the history of webcomics and if Chris uploaded Sonichu in the mid-90s online he’d probably have a unironic fanbase.

Watching the latest Geno Samuel episode part 30; Chris reformatted his PS3 hard drive all on his own or he was tricked into this? I'm assuming this meant he lost all his games? I really don't know anything about console systems made in the last 15 years. I find it kind of hard to believe Sony customer service would have advised him to do this, I would have thought that they would be well trained in dealing with all kinds of people with severe autism and diminished mental function. " Mr Chandler I need to warn you we can get your PS3 working again but, you will lose all data if we re-format" something like this. Even if the HD was shot couldn't they have attempted to recover the data like a normal PC hard drive? Is this something that is just not economically worth it?

I mean the way the Chandler's spoiled him is something more akin to grandparents who coddle and swoon over their grandchildren anyway, and in small does it probably wouldn't have done as much damage to Chris as it did. Plus a younger couple more in tune with the then modern times would have understood Chris needed help when signs of his Autism made themselves clear and would have done so. Because an 80s/90s couple would have known the days of straightjackets and electroshock were long gone

More like they just bought him cheap crap and let the TV babysit him so he'd stop his perpetual autistic screaming. They were really just neglectful people, despite meaning well. Sort of.

Nothing wrong with a vasectomy, it's reversable. I know a few men it's saved from getting stuck with a "barb" when they tried to pull the "I'm knocked up, its your kid, game". While were in the random Q&A thread, has it ever been proven Robert Chandler is Chris' biological father? Bob Chandler's daughter Carol has a Ph.D, his son David, is a practicing ophthalmologist and then there's Chris who's not going to be a Dr. in anything any time soon; Barbara's son, who's other son Cole Smithy, hates her for allegedly not telling him who his real father is. I look at these YT clip and see bob is like 5'6"? Chris is 5'10". I couldn't find anything on David Chandlers height. I'm sure someone more autistic than I has looked into this. Sometimes I wonder if Chris is actually Bob's son, all things considered.

Still even if they did babysit him with the tv and bought cheap toys to quiet his screeching that probably wouldn't have done the long term damage it did in the long run if it was only done to him when he saw Bob and Barb on weekends or for a few weeks every summer like most kids back then when they stayed with their grandparents.
