I always wondered but, I wonder if Chris never won the Sega Sweepstakes, if his sense of entitlement wouldn't have been so strong as something like that at an early can reinforce that behavior.

IMHO Barb was the source of the entitlement followed closely by Bob. The Sega sweepstakes probably didn't help or help with the sonic obsession either

SEGA sweepstakes, Barb, Bob, getting coddled in the schoolsystem and getting passing marks for tard-tier homework, having, like a dozen consoles... All bricks in the massive wall that became Chris’s ego.

Yeah, it was something that nurtured since childhood. I think the cwcki mentioned something about Chris saying that Barb would buy him toys if he could say the name of said toy aloud, as he had issues speaking. From there he was never taught anything else, to the point he wanted recognition for his art classes in high school at his graduation ceremony. It's only gotten worse, the Catherine troll facade was pretty divisive while it was going on but in the emails leaked he straight up throws a fit when she refuses to date him, saying outright that he's entitled to a relationship.

I think them allowing him to change his name had a stronger influence than him winning the sweepstakes because that was his parents validating his fantasy

That is a fair point as he always had a strong investment in his name. Christopher isn't a bad name at all and still would be shortened to Chris. It is something I always sometimes think about when I think of Chris what could be different had his formative years played out differently.

Ever wonder if he just doesn't understand gender at all to any degree? He doesn't understand JERKS, can't live up to the masculine expectations of men and due to autism can't relate to them. He doesn't understand women, nor the discrimination many women face in society, and again due to autism only feels like he can relate to women because he shares more feminine traits with them than males which is further skewed by the media he views. Thusly, in his mind, he must be a woman born in a man's body, hence the gender dysphoria. I know this has all been said already but it's hard to impress what I'm getting at. He's straight and like a lot of straight men don't like looking at other's ducks. His hatred of his own duck could be due to it's deformation, and a reminder that he belongs to a gender he loathed for a long time. He's obsessed with gender, without having any idea about the nature of either.

He finds lesbians hawt, and again his twisted logic interprets this as his being a woman in mind and soul. I guess what I'm trying to say, as best I can, is he's like a personification of gender neutrality. I feel like he'd be happier and far less obsessive about it if he was born without a duck or china.

Sonic appears in the comic but I think it's the same hero-worship Chris himself has toward his favorite blue non-OC hedgehog. I'm more perplexed by the lack of Pikachu despite it's importance to Sonichu lore. Despite being an "Electric Hedgehog Pokemon", Sonichu is more derived from Sonic than the Pokemon franchise. I think it's just that Chris has more attachment to the former.

Good points.

Chris doesn’t understand gender aside from stereotypes he watched on TV.

Any pronouncements Chris makes about being gay or trans should therefore be treated with the same seriousness as when an 8 year old announces that he wants to be an astronaut.

(Personally I’ve always found the “Chris is a repressed homosexual!” theory to be fairly ludicrous.
Despite being “a woman”, Chris has put absolutely zero efforts towards getting pickle. Especially compared with the heroic amounts of time and energy he has spent trying to get China.)


TLDR: Chris is a heterosexual dang, dirty MALE, who doesn’t understand gender and wants to play life on easy mode. He therefore claims he’s a lesbian woman.
