Can you imagine Chris calling up that poor FBI agent at 4AM and saying, "Yes, agent Maloney, Team Rocket is burning down Equestria, and I want them gone! How many wild squirtles can you shoot at once?"I know the FBI has a lot more pressing matters to deal with on their hands, but yet I can't help but imagine if they did decide to take up the case and some poor newb FBI agent was assigned to deal with the Chris matter and the first thing he does is stumble upon the CWCwiki and just ends up spending hours on there reading about Chris with his eyes wide open. Probably cursing himself wondering where he went wrong in life, to end up stuck in some office researching about a grown manchilds escapades at 10PM at night.

He'd bail out of Warhammer 40K immediately. Even though it has lots of expensive plastic spacemen for him to blow his tugboat on, he'd have to put actual effort into building and painting an army, and putting sustained effort into things is like kryptonite to him. He'd also hate the lore because it is relentlessly bloody and morally ambiguous and grimdark, and the ultimate implication is that everyone in the galaxy is fucked no matter what because the Tyranids are going to eat everyone eventually, provided the Necrons don't exterminate all organic life or the Chaos gods don't burn the whole place down and start fresh. He'd probably just claim that the entire setting will cease to exist in the merge.

I like Kamen Rider and Super Sentai. Chris already likes Power Rangers. Except they're even more toyetic now than ever in Japan, with tons of gimmick collectibles. I imagine Chris ordering merch constantly and then trying to get them to fit on his increasingly fat ass, like using duck-tape to make the undersized belts stay on him. Also the possibility of him modding them in retarded MLP/Sonichu colors. And doing poses.
So... no, not much of a difference compared to how he normally is with things he's a fan of.

I really like the Hyperion Cantos.
Honesty, I have no idea how it would turn out since AFAIK Chris has only ever read Goosebumps and not much more. If he got into it, he'd most likely jam that world into his own autistic cosmology with 0 regard for any consistency, make some new cards for that shipfic game, and perhaps even give the Time Tombs some special importance.
The thing is, though, that Chris loses interest in stuff that he can't endlessly consoom/hoard merch from really fucking fast. So the most likely outcome is that he forgets about the whole thing in a few weeks.

Well not media exactly, but Bob had (has?) a stamp collection and I collect stamps. I believe (if he still has them) thats the only connection hobby wise that I will ever share with Chris. I was a fan also of G1 Transformers but I do not keep up his antics in that area and I'm not a fan of modern day Transformers so yeah.

I was re-reading the Son-Chu article and got to thinking, how the hell were the Chandlers able to afford Barb's BMW? I know it was 10 years old when they bought it but insurance on those is a lot, even when they're that old. Especially if it's a 2 door, 2 seat sports car like that model.

Not sure if this flew under the radar or not, but OPL had a small mention on the podcast of 80s pro wrestling manager Jim Cornette. The question asked in the e-mail was a totally normal wrestling question so it doesn't seem like it was actually him, but it might be funny to watch if Jim somehow ends up looking into the history behind the name.

chris has mentioned tf2 a few times, right? i'm actually surprised he hasn't played it yet. anyways, it's got bright colors and loud characters, so he'd probably like it, but the gore would turn him off a bit. i could see him doing horrible impressions of the mercs and telling everyone that they're now happily married in the cartoon universe or whatever the fuck. he'd definitely get stomped consistently, tho.

He only mentioned it because the brony analysts were into it, and he did incorporate it into his roleplay delusions by insisting that he was the Red Spy and that he and the analysts were totally besties who played the game together in C-197 all the time. As soon as it became clear that they didn't want anything to do with him he dropped the whole thing like a hot potato.

I read the CWCki article about prank calls recently. In the one where two weens basically abuse Bob for 10 minutes, the article mentions that he claimed to be a member of the Klan. The original recording of the call is no longer online (and I can't find a transcript either), so I was wondering what the basis for this was.
I doubt that Bob was racist enough to join the third Klan post 1950, so if he ever was a member he must have joined during the dying days of the second Klan in the 40s.

He was probably trying to use the Klan as a threat. Bear in mind that Bob was born in the late 20's in the South and so for the first 30-40 years of his life the KKK was a serious force.
