Wow I'm impressed at his inside scoop on Chris. Gunt never fails to disappoint.
 
I sometimes imagine how things would have gone if the ideas guy indoctrinated him into black pill incel stuff, rather than feeding his dimension merge delusions. Imagine his anger towards Mary Lee Walsh being directed at society as a whole. The bowl cut saga.

Then again, I don’t think it’d work because Chris lacks the self awareness to see any difference between himself and ‘Chad’.

Wasn't Sean Walker already trying to turn Chris into Randy Stair 2.0? That didn't seem to work, so I doubt this would have worked either.

No to both. Chris has outlived his usefulness giving the internet a laugh, now he's just struggling for relevancy at the cost of his mental health. Barb created Chris and showed no effort to get him help, and ended up using him as her personal slave, and in turn, Chris literally fucked Barb over.
 
When a public persona whose work or life has had a positive effect on me dies, I might feel sad. Anne Rice, Betty White, Meatloaf - those passings came with pangs of sadness.

Chris won’t inspire that for me. He has entertained me by being awful, surprising, and just strange; but that’s about it.

Itd be like Cole Smithy. An example how nurture (or should I say how evil and terrible barb is) can really fuck up people. He's not a "bad" person, but he can be insufferable due to his contrarian, attention seeking narcisim and ego.

Fair enough. I don't think anybody will actually be sad, but I still think we'll miss him when he's gone.

I see what you mean, yeah, Chris would totally be like "her" mother. A total mommy and daddy's girl who'd have very similar peculiarities and who would most likely make an internet presence of some kind for themselves.

Now would it be anything like the Chris of today? Who knows.
