Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

Thinking like a Soviet-era judge here; if Virginia is required to "find a home" for mentally ill inmates before they can be released, doesn't that suggest it might be possible to hold one indefinately by claiming no such home can be found?
And Chris only has himself to blame, by raping his mother, or at least that’s what many would assume, he is a clear risk to at the very least vulnerable women and by being a trans woman I imagine it’s a bit of a political/bureaucratic nightmare to try and put Chris in an all male home.
All in all Chris chan degeneracy is mild compared to many things we're told we need to normalize.
True but on the other hand Chris is an example of what happens when the groups he represents grow up.

Being an autistic trans lesbian obsessed with pop culture and social media and not much else might be somewhat quirky and socially acceptable when they’re in their teens or even 20s (At least to the progressive left) but once they become middle aged or older it becomes unavoidably awkward and unpleasant to be around them and even the most progressive groups try to distance themselves from Chris.

Would the political redtape apply that much in Virginia? I dont live there so I dont know the political leanings of that state but I assumed they were more right leaning and thus this wouldnt be that much of an issue, unless you mean in a sense of the wider US/World then I can definitely see what you mean.

This is what happened when he joined the Brony fanbase, we accepted him as we try to accept anyone, but Chris was so utterly awkward and just a chore to interact with that it honestly became sad to be around. And thats for a fanbase for a pony show, I can only imagine how sad he looks when he goes out to protests or rallies, it probably feels like high school where you had to pretend that the retard didnt exist in your classroom whilst they howl like a chimpanzee.

Virginia is more purple than red, and they have a soft spot for autists. It's one of the few states where autists can actually get a handicapped parking sticker because apparently autism keeps you from walking somehow.

Once Chris is out, he'll be over the moon that he can buy a blue checkmark for his twitter (because he always wanted that verified status), to feel special (well more special than he is now), even though it's always been worthless.

Perhaps he can take the chance to bring back some of that tobacky

It really is amazing how Chris is Sigmund Freud's wet dream.

-Irrational aversion to phallic objects like pickles because as a child he saw Bob's hard dick while he was in bed with Barb/they reminded him of his then repressed homosexual urges.
-Freudian slips like "I had male friends in High School and most of them didn't turn me on at all!"
-Complete arrested development/all encompassing desire to remain in childhood
-Utter obsession with own ego
-His own fantasies telling on him subconsciously, like Reldnahc Notsew Naitsirhc being a flaming homo who shits himself, flashing back to when he was "fat and stupid" to draw a Peter Griffin Chris Chan that looks way more like IRL Chris, playing out Lego fantasies of his future family where Christal (girl Chris) is perfect and heaped with praise while Reginald is a retard that shits himself, myriad other examples from Chris's work
-Going from dreaming of having a daughter named Christal to writing of a fictional twin sister named Christal who is beautiful and stared at followed by eventually becoming Christine himself so that he could both be his own boyfriend free girl and indulge his fantasy of being with the only woman good enough for him, himself (refer back to ego)
-And obviously, Oedipal complex

Today Freud's theories are considered very primitive and unsubstantiated, but Chris is the walking embodiment of every one of Freud's mental illness stereotypes

Will this subforum survive this/next year? Now with the hard content drought and the fact that Null cut ties with Chris and hates anything CWC adjacent, it doesn't seem like it has any bright future to me.

I think a few people will still drop in throughout the day to post speculations or talk about Christory. If not, we might see Christory end with Chris being reduced to a single thread in the lolcow forum.

Chris is a huge attention whore and will be straight on social media as soon as he‘s able but until he’s out we’re sadly at the whims of weens and grifters when it comes to Chris content, if they are even getting anything.

Doubtful since Chris has always been pretty NPC with his social views, hed instantly see the MuskManBad narrative and denounce the practice entirely, hes going to want to come back into the good graces of all by following their current firmware.

I do wonder how that will look when he does return. Will it be ambivalence or will there be an outcry to get him removed for being such a toxic waste of bandwidth? Then again, there were those who unironically defend Chris during the initial rape debacle, so one has to wonder how low it will go.

Those people did put more importance on his pronouns rather than the victimization of his mom. If they do end up supporting Chris, they are at the risk of doxing themselves for supporting a degenerate pervert. Even if Chris doesn't have a sex offender status, it's still just as bad to be remotely associated with him. No crusading, left wing bleeding heart is going to want to even as much tweet Chris for forcing (allegedly) himself on his own mother.

They got him booked as male in jail, shouldn't be much harder to book him as male in a home, hell might be easier.

They defended him because they interpreted the attack on Chris as an attack on the greater trans community, which was an awful idea because it made them look like they tacitly approved of his actions. Two years after his grand stage fame the only people that'll care when he gets out are the niche group that know Chris as more than "the weirdo that banged his mom".

They've defended worse, like Jonathan Yaniv the open pedophile and the Rogaine Ogre, a dude who shut down a rape clinic because he hates women that much.

Something to consider is how social media is changing. The zoomers aren’t using twitter or anything owned by fuckerberg. If he wants money and attention from them, Chris might have to adopt a new format. Can he? Even some normal people Chris’s age have trouble making the transition.

Speaking of, fwiw, the usual take I see from the people of gender is “Christine needs to be left alone in obscurity. We can’t do anything for her” with the tacit addendum that trying to help Chris at all or even engaging makes them look bad by association. They know.

I think Chris could do Tik Tok, just put his dimensional merge philosophy into bite sized chunks.

We know Chris was and very possibly still is in contact with dozens of people, he said so himself and I don't think he's delusional enough to make all of those letters up yet. I know that Kengle and Praetor have their reasons for not publishing their correspondence, but I'm slightly surprised that no other weens or attention seekers have done so lately. Makes me suspect that he can't or doesn't want to communicate for some reason.

Yep.

Okay, it's a totally unrelated case in my area of Virginia. A close friend of mine that works in the local correctional system complains about an inmate that is a non-verbal autistic person. This person should have been released six months ago for assaulting someone once their time was served. This person has been in multiple group homes and no one wants them because of their violent history. So this person receives 3 meals a day, meds, and a cot in the local jail until they can be placed.

I just wanted to add: How crazy is this situation? People can't be institutionalized indefinitely in a psych facility (good), but can be incarcerated if outpatient facilities or a group home can't be found?

It seems like some sort of bureaucratic trick due to how the deferral system works. In order for the trial to resume, Chris needs to spend time in a home*, meaning time in jail doesn't tick down the clock. If he can't be put in a home due to lack of space or other reasons, the trial goes nowhere and Chris sits around in his cell.
*assuming that is one of the conditions of the deferral, if it's not then Chris doesn't need time in a home.

The whole statute, which seems to leave it almost entirely up to the court.
§ 19.2-303.6. Deferred disposition in a criminal case; persons with autism or intellectual disabilities.
A. In any criminal case, except a violation of § 18.2-31, an act of violence as defined in § 19.2-297.1, or any crime for which a deferred disposition is provided for by statute, upon a plea of guilty, or after a plea of not guilty, and the facts found by the court would justify a finding of guilt, the court may, if the defendant has been diagnosed by a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist with (i) an autism spectrum disorder as defined in the most recent edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders published by the American Psychiatric Association or (ii) an intellectual disability as defined in § 37.2-100 and the court finds by clear and convincing evidence that the criminal conduct was caused by or had a direct and substantial relationship to the person's disorder or disability, without entering a judgment of guilt and with the consent of the accused, after giving due consideration to the position of the attorney for the Commonwealth and the views of the victim, defer further proceedings and place the accused on probation subject to terms and conditions set by the court. Upon violation of a term or condition, the court may enter an adjudication of guilt; or upon fulfillment of the terms and conditions, the court may discharge the person and dismiss the proceedings against him without an adjudication of guilt. This section shall not limit the authority of any juvenile and domestic relations court granted to it in Title 16.1.

B. Deferred disposition shall be available to the defendant even though he has previously been convicted of a criminal offense, been adjudicated delinquent as a juvenile, or had proceedings deferred and dismissed under this section or under any other provision of law, unless, after having considered the position of the attorney for the Commonwealth, the views of the victims, and any evidence offered by the defendant, the court finds that deferred disposition is inconsistent with the interests of justice.

2020, c. 1004.

The chapters of the acts of assembly referenced in the historical citation at the end of this section may not constitute a comprehensive list of such chapters and may exclude chapters whose provisions have expired.
He might not be being held on this statute, though, but on the one requiring he be placed in some kind of home rather than just released homeless onto the streets.

It's pretty crazy Chris just happened to be jailed at the exact time the legal system introduced this new measure (Created by his Lawyer no less) for people with mental health issues to be required to be housed for a month so they're not just kicked out on the street.

Although in practice it doesn't seem to be working out that way and instead it's seemingly trapped Chris in a Catch 22 situation.

I guess bureaucracy was the only thing able to trump the autism card.
