Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

It's pretty crazy Chris just happened to be jailed at the exact time the legal system introduced this new measure (Created by his Lawyer no less) for people with mental health issues to be required to be housed for a month so they're not just kicked out on the street.

Although in practice it doesn't seem to be working out that way and instead it's seemingly trapped Chris in a Catch 22 situation.

I guess bureaucracy was the only thing able to trump the autism card.
I think that if Chris really wanted out him and his lawyer could file some sort of motion to waive the placement assistance. As has been suggested before, if it were a requirement on the convict as well as the commonwealth there would be major due process issues as they could hold him indefinitely.

What’s more likely is that it’s related to the autism deferral. Chris can avoid conviction on paper if he follows some terms they set for him which would probably include maintaining residence in supervised housing.

We know Chris was and very possibly still is in contact with dozens of people, he said so himself and I don't think he's delusional enough to make all of those letters up yet. I know that Kengle and Praetor have their reasons for not publishing their correspondence, but I'm slightly surprised that no other weens or attention seekers have done so lately. Makes me suspect that he can't or doesn't want to communicate for some reason.
Probably given his reputation and repetition. Chris even made a point to say he wasn't logging names and addresses in his Goddess Log, so word must have gotten back to him since he's had a history of doxing people over the dumbest things. Plus there's that seamy thought that creeps into people's minds about Chris showing up on their doorstep a few years from now wanting a place to stay.

That and Chris just plain boring. He's not sperging out in his letters, he's just repeating the same old tired stuff over and over again.

We all know how Chris is with choices: he can't make one; he wants every available option open to him. Yes, to once again "clear his 'good' name", he'll want to avoid conviction, but he would not follow any terms and stay in supervised housing.

A random thought but Chris thinks he’s astrally projecting to another dimension when he daydreams and since he can control his daydreams he considers himself an all powerful goddess of that dimension I wonder if he thinks Doug Funnie from the show Doug is doing the same when he daydreams and turns into an alter-ego such as Quail-man (Super-Man) or Smash Adams (James Bond) who similarly to Chris beats up people he doesn’t like and gets the girl, also resolving whatever issue he happens to have at the time before he, unlike Chris, comes to his senses and realises it was just a dream and he still has those issues to deal with.

Given Chris’s age and viewing habits he’s got to have seen Doug at some point.

The misidentification of daydreaming as a superpower is my favorite Chris trait by far. Is that common amongst autists or is that particular failure of theory of mind a Chandler innovation?
Has anyone tried using AI to create CWC-styled(or related) artwork?
Yes. The results are generally disappointing. They just look like a pre-schooler’s crayon drawings and lack anything that makes them uniquely Chris

I think maladaptive daydreaming is a more common than thought with autistic people.

It is daydreaming but from what I understand triggered by certain things such as music and has other symptoms like pacing back and forward and making random noises, symptoms from a random site:
  • Intense, vivid daydreams that present as a story, with characters, settings, and plotlines
  • Daydreams that are triggered by real-world events or sensory stimuli
  • Unconscious facial expressions, repetitive body movements, or talking or whispering that accompany daydreams
  • Daydreams that last for several minutes to hours
  • A strong or addictive desire to keep daydreaming
  • Trouble focusing and completing daily tasks due to daydreams
  • Trouble sleeping
A person can exhibit one or more of these symptoms.
Which relates to Chris's first independent documentation with Anna McLerran's The Tale Of The Crazy Pacer:
Once upon a time, there was a guy who paced in front of Abercrombie & Fitch. He'd come and do it for hours on end, just walking back and forth. He was an okay-looking guy, not evil-looking like Creepy Molester Dude. So he would pace for his allotted time, then leave. Sometimes as he paced, he would sing or shout. Nobody really could ever tell what he was saying. Oh yeah, and he always wore the same shirt, a nice little long-sleeved red and blue number that had a gold crest on the left side, and white collar and cuffs.

The maladaptive daydreaming definition is a really good find and it should be standard copy pasta any time someone claims Chris is actually delusional or schizophrenic.

who similarly to Chris beats up people he doesn’t like and gets the girl,
Hey now Doug funnie was a lot more likeable than Chris. Smash Adams and quail man didn't just exist for Doug to shut himself off from reality either. In many instances he'd apply what happened in a fantasy to his "real world " to solve a problem "brain over brawn, reaching a compromise ect. "

Conversely Chris created cwcville and sonichu so he'd have a place to go so he could have his ass kissed by undyingly loyal characters who worshiped the ground he walked on because he didn't have that in real life.

Not really sure if it's safe to assume that the original liquid decided to come back after being an oncologist and a family man but the thought of it is pretty funny.

Either way i think it would be funny if Chris got access to the internet again one day and found out "liquid chris" has been taking his place the whole time he was gone (unlikely since there would be no payoff to trolling chris if he can't respond and doesn't know about it, unless this is an attempt to make money off of Tiktok as a side hustle).

I don't know why anyone would want to associate their name with Chris Chan today. There's nothing good that can come out of it for him.

Plus what if in a twist worthy of a legal drama, Heilberg manages to convince the judges that liquid was the Chris Chan responsible for Barb-rape and gets Solid Chris to walk?

I'd love to see the return of liquid. A successful doctor with a loving family usurping Chris's one positive claim to fame is just too rich.

Although IIRC it was more his identical twin brother who was into the trolling and no idea what he's up to.

One of the symptoms is trouble sleeping, and given Chris' sleep patterns, it's not so surprising.

Wouldn't it be "Liquid Christine"? I mean, if we're going back to that saga, it would make sense in continuity if Liquid Chris was a girl. But since what has happened to Chris, I doubt any of that would happen.

I'm surprised he or his brother weren't 'cancelled' because they took part in mocking an autistic individual.

True but on the other hand similar sites argue it's not the same as psychosis because most people who suffer from maladaptive daydreaming don't believe their dreams are real unlike Chris who does so I guess it's possible to have them and also be delusional.

Thankfully Tumblr or Twitter isn't indicative of the real world, I doubt practices or patients care he made some dumb videos in his youth if he's out there right now saving lives.

I disagree that Chris believes his daydreams in a psychotic way. If he actually had hallucinations, they would not always be to his benefit. He’s never claimed to see something scary or anything he didn’t want to see; it’s always sonichu telling him he’s doing a great job and that he has super powers or something

He's almost done with his residency in internal medicine. I feel like now would be the worst time for him to get into trouble with his state's ethics board by harassing a mentally ill person for the lulz.
