Sorry, have to disagree with you there. That's face blindness, which is common in autism and isn't necessarily a symptom of having a low IQ in and of itself.

yeah idk. its all very confusing. he may have an iq somewhere in the 90s i imagine but some of the stuff he does.. idk. hes not of this earth..

The main reason I asked this question was really the fact that he was mostly in special ed classes in high school and barely managed to pass the regular classes as evidenced by his childish and incoherent homework assignments, plus he went on to take six years to get his CADD and his associate's degree from a subpar backwoods community college.
 
Well one year was due to suspension and the rest I'd guess was due to Fatty employing his usual method of learning: Sleep and read goosebumps.

A lot of his academic failures have more to do with Chris being a lazy ass than his actual disability. Autism definitely hindered his ability to understand some of the assignments but his laziness is what kept him ignorant.

Chris doesn't quite get fashion. I think it's a component of his autism - he has no intrinsic understanding of what looks good. When he tried to look cool and edgy, the result was the Gay Trucker. When he tried to look like a ladies' man, the result was a bra with "WANT WOMAN" scrawled on it. The only time he's looked normal was when he became a prostitute for about ten minutes that time. He seems to have the same approach with his tomgirl get-up - it's women's clothes, it's make-up, it's long hair, therefore he must look like a sexy lady. In other words, yes, he probably gets his stuff from Goodwill.

IQ isn't regarded as a great measure of general intelligence these days. Even if he did have an IQ of 150 as claimed, he doesn't mentally stretch himself in any way. He doesn't read, he plays only simple video games, his cultural knowledge is limited to cartoons. His learning is limited to skimming over whatever he needs to back up his current opinion without any attempt to assimilate actual knowledge. I'm reading Farenheit 451 at the moment, which predicted that in the future people would become so used to not thinking that they'd basically all become imbeciles, and now I'm wondering what Ray Bradbury would think if he met Chris.

hed probably have to go see a shrink because chris exceeded his expectations and i doubt any sane human could last an hour with him

I think the main problem with Chris's sense of fashion is as you said he thinks X (pulled from 90's TV sitcom) means he will have result Y (China or Fame an Fortune) if you do or look like X so once you add the derailing factor of his autism we get result Z.

But I also think there is other factors in play one of the big ones is his access to fund's and how he choses to spend what he has available, and he has never done anything other than use them to plug a hole in his want list not his need list (not even long term stuff like a house or a car, but short term need stuff like clothing) and he hasn't got much of a body image either, the saying "The cloths make the man" is kinda fitting in a perverse way in this case. Back in the Rugby shirt era, Chris did look how TV portrays special needs people look (chubby, poor taste in clothing dictated by his Mother, the child molester glasses), and in the current Tom Girl saga he looks exactly how we kinda picture half arsed fetishist transvestites look (Cheep, Trashy and quite amazingly ugly). At the moment he is still just plugging the hole in his "I want this" list, his clothing is cheep as he does not see the point in looking some what normal as to his autism filtered eye's what he wants is normal as it is him wanting it and using the path of least resistance to get it.

While I am not going to stretch this into him getting a better personal image (or his own identity outside of Barb as we are seeing this unfold now with all the horrific details therein) would turn him into the worlds best dressed Man, Woman or Man-Child as that's never going to happen but it might help him at least look normal in passing at least but the longer the Tom Girl thing drags on and with the developments in the last few day's that caused me to register on the forums I can see that some what remote possibility drifting further and further away.

one thing i love about chris is when he was doing that whole rap about being 1/16 cherokee and then the infamous war paint vid where he was trying his best to represent "his people" but failing miserably. all i can think of is this dude from southpark

btw i found something chris might ACTUALLY be able to do instead of acting like an ass and a completely narcissistic psychopath. he could potentially do a decent donald duck impression if he tried to refine it, idk. listen to this part in the midst of this sea of mindbending annoyance i might be crazy... so yeah, a positive compliment i have for chris @4:14

Is Chris a neckbeard? He is a resident of the friend zone, he is very unhygienic, he's fat, he's lazy, he's a brony, he watches anime, he's a fan of sonic and spends too much time on the internet. However, he is a Christian (in name and religion), does not have any facial hair, and claims to be a feminist.
 
In the first Kacey call, Chris pretends to be Liquid and the indication is he's doing so to try to make Kacey think he's Liquid and get her to come to his house. Did he call Kacey or did Kacey call him? And did someone encourage him to pretend to be Liquid? If so, how did that get started?

Don't remember the details, but I think the opportunity presented itself to Chris and he took it. I don't know what Chris thought would happen if she showed up though. Well, he also thinks he can trick a lesbian into having sex with him.

Chris is not a smart man. :stupid:
