Regarding why things fuck up in CWCville:
What I reckon Chris believes

Most of the stories are somewhat based on reality. The GET-Tar Region one (or whatever the fuck it was called ) where he gets in a fight with a security guard shows this the best.

CWCville is an excape from reality when reality fucks him over. It's his place to "put things right." All of the stories start (usually IIRC) with Chris on his own and getting OPPRESSED . This fits into (Chris's perception of) reality of what happened.

He then gets saved by someone or something retarded and then its all okay.

I have to admit I did this as a kid. If someone fucked me over or if I felt depressed, I daydreamed about being saved by someone, or replayed it where they were there and it played through better.

The "overly-generous-of-Chris's-Intelligence" theory is thus

In media they mentioned something called the "todorov theory." I took Media as an excuse to get high so not a lot of it stuck, but its something like theres 5 stages in media:
- Everything's lovely!
- Something bad happens, the situation changes
- Everything sucks, then the main hero finds out it sucks
- He then goes on a mission and kicks the "bad situations" 's ass.
- Everything's lovely again! But different.

Chris may have picked this up, tho more basically, through the sheer amount of shit he watches. He may just understand how a classic "narrative" is supposed to go

I don't think he's even capable of optimism anymore; it's probably just some archaic routine that he's too worn down to alter or abandon. He's like a ghost-train that's forever traveling the same circular route.

Like others have stated in this forum...Chris will likely be complaining about the same things for the rest of his life. Imagine a 40 year old Chris (if he's alive ) still bitching about Megan and Snyder, and still wishing he was in high school. That's such a depressing thing to think about.

With his earliest sweethearts--Blanca, Panda, Ivy--Chris had no apparent problem sending topless photos and drawings of himself. Simultaneously he was in deep denial about his physical appearance, imagining himself to be slim, fit and muscular. During the Kasey saga, apparently for the first time, he started to express pride in his manboobs, as he transitioned to a more feminine identity. He censored his own nipples in one of his drawings. This culminates in the muscle bra and full-blown tomgirlism during the Jackie saga. He wants laws passed making it illegal for everyone to see your ugly pecs. He wore shirts for his private Tomgirl photo session. So I wonder if his self-loathing is so extreme that he now refuses to go topless under any circumstances.

Maybe he believes men' s and women's nipples should be treated equally. It must be really confusing for Chris to understand why it's OK for men to show their nipples but not women because there is no real logical reason behind it, it's just a social convention which Chris struggles with.

Yesterday, dad and I installed a new AC in my room since mine was nasty and kept on icing up. It's been in its place for 3 years, we live in a part of VA that rarely gets cold, so we leave our ACs in all year. When dad pulled up my blinds, and raised the window to let the old AC out, holy shit. There was a jungle of cobwebs, dirt, dead bugs, and a live praying mantis in the inside and outside my window. There was a birdsnest the size of a couple of baseballs in the corner from last year. There was murky water under the AC.

I think I know what Chris' entire house looks like now.

What do you guys think Chris's sense of time is like. Is it skewered? I know he still describes himself as a young adult but does he really feel like it hasn't been that long since high school? Moreover, if the average person had set out about his sweet heart search like he did by now they would have changed something about the way they approach things. Most people realize that a certain amount of time has passed and the way they're doing things has given them little to no progress. So they set out to change it in some form or fashion. I know Chris is lazy, stubborn, and refuses to accept advice but maybe his sense of time isn't proper either.

Naw, he was chill with the group sometime after. BlueSpike now? Last I heard he's mostly focusing on his studies, he's still in school and wants to do well. It's not like BlueSpike was a small child, he was just a kinda annoying teen but he's slowly matured.
