Digimon isn't a copy of pokemon it's pretty much Tamagotchi's even their digivices are kind of like that. VR Troopers wasnt a copy of power rangers at all, in japan there are series other than Power Rangers, one of them is Metal Heroes, VR Trooper (Like Robotech) was compromised of 3 separate series melded into one Superhuman Machine Metalder,Dimensional Warrior Spielban and Space Sheriff Shaider, hence why on some scenes you see only one character but in another scene another and why the continuity makes no sense. Also I don't think Chris would be one to watch those kinds of show since they featured burly men. Also I think this can go in random thoughts Just Saiyan.

Edit for serious response: if Chris has never brought a spergy children's toy/show up before odds are it had zero impact on him. He's not exactly a creature of subtle complexity.

It's an interesting theory. My inclination is that it is a little too deep.

The origin story is that Chris was told to create a CD cover. He wasn't allowed to use copywritten characters. Since there is very little else in Chris' brain he asked the teacher if he could combine two copywritten characters. The teacher, not giving too many shits, said he could.

From that moment an idea was firmly planted in Chris' brain. The assignment forbade copywritten characters. The assignment allowed Sonichu. Therefore there were no copyright problems with Sonichu, end of story.

Chris is mired in ignorance -he has probably met a handful of black people in his lifetime and has little actual racial animus.

The person Chris called "niggo" was actively antagonizing him, and his warped mind was reaching for an insult. Keenan, Kel, and Cleveland were not trying to steal his heartsweet, and Chris thinks his imaginary friends are real, I'm not sure he understands Sonic the Hedgehog is voiced by an actor.

Chris doesn't hate blacks.

The term "niggo" is closer to evidence* of Chris being anti-racist. Chris was being forced to say "nigger", but Chris really hated saying that word, and even when forced, could only say "niggo".

He used the term "niggo" only once and that was where he was forced to say "nigger" but replaced the term with a (in his mind) less offensive one.
The only time where he acted racist against another person was during his PVCC years where he sat next to his attraction sign and some girls came up to him to ask what he is doing.
He told them that they could not be his sweetheart because they were black.
That however was much more autistic than racist because Chris had extremely stringent criteria for his "Sweetheart from the ground up", most of them well known (Age 18- his current age, non smoker e.t.c.)
The "no darkies" thing came because of a dream where he had seen his daughter Crystal and she was white, therefore his girlfriend/wife could not be black.

I have spent some time on online dating sites, both for lulz and to further my own sweetheart search. It's amazing how many women put "I'm not interested in black guys" right up front in their profile. I don't read too many guys profiles, so I don't know how common it is there.

It always strikes me as odd. Not because I think it is weird that people are more attracted to some races over others. That seems inevitable. But why put it in your profile? Why appear like you might be racist, whether or not you are? Why not just ignore or politely decline approaches from a black guy, if you are not interested, just as you would for some other random person you just happen not to be interested in?

I feel the same way about Chris. If he prefers not to date a black girl that's fine. If it is just because he is more attracted to white girls thats fine. A little bit of "beggars can't be choosers", but whatever. If it is really mostly because of a weird dream, that is incredibly dumb, but I am not offended. But why not just keep quiet about it, and not risk offending people?

In Chris' case, the answer is more clear. He is an idiot who thinks attraction signs listing point-for-point requirements are a good idea. That is a stupid idea on many different levels before you get down to dissecting the specific requirements. But I have frequently been amazed by how many people are ok with publicly saying "No black guys". So Chris isn't the only one subject to this particular bit of dumbfuckery.

Who has he turned down? Sure his publicized standards are high, but he has never been a stickler for them. If a girl was interested for some reason and approached him he would probably be down for it.

If she had a similar level of autism I could see him rejecting her on those grounds. Which is really shitty and hypocritical if nothing else. But if she was conventionally unattractive (hambeast), very awkward (wallflower), or a huge bitch (kacey), that's not a problem.

That's the thing; he aims miles out of his league, for example he invariably hangs around the hottest women at Impulse, but if he gets a more realistic offer, he won't turn his nose up at it, e.g. Hambeast.
