Unless your Tiffany Gowen, he probably won't.

FTFY.

Well, if he was Barb, Chris would respond, unless of course Chris has finally come to the conclusion that she is a troll too.

She is a troll. The literal kind though. :snorlax:

It's probably been said before but I was thinking that OPL's phrase "china" might be a bit of subconscious honesty.
There's a great wall keeping him out of it.(Being Chris)
And Chris is of course, a mongol(oid). :tomgirl:

This actually makes me kind of sad. Like, maybe severe mental problems run through the entire McLerran-Waterhead extended family. I feel bad for the normal members.

Here to remind everyone about the time Chris was in community college for a million years and didn't know anything about the FAFSA:

Kacey: Chris! CHRIS! Listen to me! No! Listen to me! Do you not realize the opportunities you have? Do you not realize they will pay for your school? They will pay for your boarding? They will pay for your transportation? Do you know how much I would KILL for that going through school right now? And I'm going to have to go through med school! And you are just SITTING on your ass wasting that shit when the government will BEG you to take it! WHAT the hell?!
Chris: I didn't even know I had those options and I'm not sure how to activate those options. I never learned!
Kacey: Go to a school! Talk to a counselor there! Talk to an adviser there. Fill out your, F-A-F-S-A. I mean, come on. There's SO much that you could just reach out for and... Ugh! I mean like, you could do anything!
Chris: Ah- Ah, hold up there... S-A-S-A?
Kacey: Your FAFSA? Come on. The financial aid application? How do you NOT know... [laugh] about... I- I- [cracks up]
Chris: I- I- I do not know that. I've never even heard of that.
Kacey: How do you not hear ab- ...Are you serious?! It's financial aid! You- you- you went to college!
Chris: I've- I- I've heard- I've heard of financial aid but I never heard of S-A-S-A.
Kacey: You haven't heard of a FAFSA? That- you HAD to have filled one out. I mean, did your parents pay for your college outright?
Chris: Yeah, my parents did pay for my college classes.
Kacey: [sigh] Just go to a college. Just go to a financial aid office or just... Google-

It probably says a lot about the quality of education at PVCC that the Chandlers were able to pay out-of-pocket for Chris's education with no fuss.

I wonder how Chris would react to this:

Bob had to know about the fafsa, and knew due to his pension and barbs retirement, Chris wouldn't qualify for any assistance (you use your parents financial info until you're 24 on the fafsa). He just didn't bother telling Chris this.
Community college is nowhere near as expensive as a four year, but out of pocket it will still cost thousands.

it might have been an actual blessing he didn't have to do loans. he'd be pretty screwed right now

It's still possible they save up over the years to fund Chris's education. It's expensive but it's not like you're paying out of pocket to go to Harvard or Yale. Plus Chris was only going for a two year program, that's ridiculously cheap. I wouldn't be surprised if a semester at my old school cost more than his education at PVCC.

When Chris tells us "high school is socially awesome and cool" is he under the impression that most adults need the concept of high school explained to them?

So, we've been discussing the state of the Chandlers' kitchen and I stumbled upon this tidbit earlier today:
Chris said:
I mean, yeah, we do have food in- we have, like- we have three refrigerators. Two downstairs, one upstairs and they all have food- and they all have food in them-
This was in a Kacey call so it's out of date, but they seemed to hoard a lot of appliances back in the day.

Maybe some of those fridges are now on the. Lawn?
At least one of them is, but now we have at least one reason as to how a "poor" family felt so ready to throw out an appliance.

Chris also talked about frozen foods. He mentioned Bob would make soups, stews and pasta but that Chris only knew how to boil vegetables (which qualified as cooking in his mind), but he assured Kacey he only ate Hungry Man meals once a month and that they usually got a brand called Healthy Foods or something.
