Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

as for whether he's drawing or not, it really depends. if he is in a proper mental institution, you have to understand that he's in there with a lot of other insane people right now. they don't tend to keep crayons and pencils lying around because retards like to shove them in their eyesockets or up their ass or just straight up choke on them. it's very likely that most of the day they have him doped up and he does nothing but sit there and watch tv and play shitty old board games (that have most of the pieces removed because, again, choking hazard) until it's curfew and he has to go to bed. they're very rigid places - for chris, i imagine it will be one of the worst places that he has ever been in his life.
We know he is not fond of other mentally disabled people because he feels he is superior to them, so being lumped in with retards and psychos must really be an insult to him, even though he is a retard and a psycho himself. Worse, it's an insult he never experienced before, because Borb completely insulated him from the reality of his own self.

So far as I know, they never told him you're abnormal, you're not like other kids, and you won't ever be, but here's some things you can do to help and if you put some work into it you can be as successful as anyone normal. Instead, whenever he did some whack-ass shit, which had to have been on a nearly weekly basis, whoever called him out on it was harassed by Borb, or they'd outright remove Chris from the situation entirely.

I'm nearly certain that's the origin of the held me down and recorded my screams story. The exasperated teachers who had to take time from the actual class of educable students to tend to this retard probably told Borb about his screeching tantrums and they refused to believe it. So the next time they had to restrain the fucking sped, they made sure to keep evidence. Borb may have even threatened to sue because their precious retard kept getting into trouble.

UVA continues to perform electroconvulsive therapy on patients, including those from Western State Hospital. There’s a real chance that if Chris’ condition gets bad enough he’ll actually be zapped to the extreme.

ECT at UVA
UVA also provides ECT services to patients from Western State Hospital in Staunton, Virginia.

Can they legally force someone to get it, or does the person have to consent?

The patient needs to consent unless under very specific circumstances, which Chris does not fall under. That's not to say that it's unknown for healthcare workers to strongly recommend and/or coerce patients into consenting, but that's another issue.

ETA: In Virginia the court can grant ECT without written consent, but they need to be presented with clear and concise evidence from the medical facility that it would be beneficial to the patient.

i think they might've even told him the opposite - like, instead of telling him he was abnormal, they'd probably tell him that he was 'special'. like bob claiming that chris was programming video games to the press (obviously bullshit) or that bit on the sweepstake news report where they claim that chris can 'master' any game within five minutes according to his father. there's probably more examples of stuff like that out there too.

i've always thought that chris considered 'high-functioning autistic' to mean that he was functioning on a level higher than everyone else, rather than actually recognizing it as a handicap. i do wonder if being surrounded by 'slow-in-the-minds' might give him some perspective, but it's more likely that he's doped up to fuck on thorazine and can't think much of anything right now.

Chris was told he was special throughout his childhood. He probably considered the fact that he even overcame his mutism as his biggest accomplishment for a while, even before the name change.

Back in the 90s, some people really thought autism came with special gifts. Like photographic memory, or being a quick study at electronics, or the ability to play a song on an instrument after hearing it once. Some people on the spectrum do experience this kind of thing, but back then autists were treated like X-men with poor social skills, at least in pop culture. I’m sure Borb latched onto this as part of their denial, looking for Chris’s amazing abilities and insisting they were present long after it became clear he was a doydoy and needed to be in a school for likeminded people.

Hey Chris, wanna know what it's like to be Sonichu?

Back then, there were the "special kids", and then just the regular ol' bicycle helmet wearing, sitting in a wheelchair trying to bite their ear tards. Movies like Rainman made people with autism seem to, despite their handicap, have one or two exceptional traits. Then you have Chris. I think this was really a Barb thing, but you're right in that Chris was brought up that he was some sort of special person, that his disability really wasn't a disability because he was so creative. I think it was mostly Barb, the town's semen receptacle all her life, finally landing "the one" with Bob, who sired two really smart kids, and couldn't take having a tard baby.

I bet there was a ton of talk about how, well, at least half of Chris was Bob's "smart genes", and how Chris was really beyond those "normies". I recall reading Chris saying that his mother told him that he was just so creative when he'd get brain lock and couldn't figure stuff out, and it was just the fact he was getting crammed with so many creative ideas, his brain just shut down. It really did lead him onto this road of thinking himself to be some ubermensch, to the point where he'd talk down to people. I really think Barb tried hard to gaslight everybody about Chris, even to the point where they thought the head of Nintendo from Japan was talking to him about his creative art abilities. I mean, why wouldn't he? Bob's two kids are a celebrated mathematician and an eye doctor, obviously his third kid would be someone some worldwide gaming company would want to talk to.

A good example of this is his art. They look like something someone would draw when they were 8, ran to their parents, and their parents throwing up their hands in praise that this was the greatest thing since Renaissance painters. Once Chris reached that level, why would he need to try any harder? His crap doodles got the dopamine fix he wanted as is. By working harder, that's just useless work, and for what? It was perfect as is. Like how he'd never rehearse or do second takes for his videos.

What would his teachers do in high school when he was getting "mainstreamed"? Fight with the tard, or just praise and pass him so he wouldn't have to repeat a grade and another term stuck with him.

I dunno if this is a tired topic and has probably already been discovered/discussed but I was interested in learning more about the post-CWC trolling lives of Liquid Chris and Kacey. Mostly because I'd read a ton of conflicting shit out there about what really happened between them after trolling Chris apart from the fact they actually got married IRL, and according to some random public records site that matches Kacey's real name along with Liquid Chris' real surname, owned a home together from some point in 2013. Looking at the house on Google Street View (which was taken in 2015) the house looks like a damn crack den.

This would seem to support the claims that their marriage was a dysfunctional mess that consisted of Liquid making late night runs to the golden arches to feed Kacey's fat face. Basically just lends more credence to the fact that pretty much all of the trolls involved in the Golden Age of trolling Chris were still, at heart, fucked up in some capacity or another. Not really that surprising when you marry someone based off your shared experience of fucking with a mentally-ill person on the internet, but guess I just felt more inclined to share since you see a lot of people praising Liquid as the only "good troll" to come out of the Golden Age. And yes, I do know Liquid is now a doctor, which y'know - good for him, but still doesn't really do much to change how hilariously strange all of this is.

No shit. Kacey did have that aggressive, know it all white woman attitude with Chris.

Get out of town. You mean to tell me the people who chose to harass a retarded man on the internet weren't the pinnacle of our species?

Yeah a huge part of Chris’s development was the fact his parents always enforced this idea that Autism was this thing that had to be endured and that he was such a ‘brave brave little boi for putting up with it. His parents never encouraged or attempted to educate him on the nuances of his condition and that he did have a disability that will bring him challenges but he could learn to still to fit in with society and live a happy life regardless.

He was never once brought up to believe that he was a person who was not the same as others, his title of ‘high functioning autistic’ he wore like it was a badge of merit that made him better than everyone else for putting up with such a very hard and tough condition on such a darling precious young tistic kid like him. This was made worse when he won the Sega Sweepstakes because he no doubt was picked because he was autistic and the News station wanted to make a fluff story and look good for helping the ‘special’ kid. It reinforced the idea in Chris’s mind that his autism was a thing to be used to get things for himself and made him more selfish form than on.

Honestly the Sega Sweeps contest might be the most import and Critical event in shaping him as a person in all of Christory. If he had never won it I feel that he would have grown up much better adjusted and would never have had his superiority complex thrusted into him at such a young age. He could have still been a massive fuck up. But he may not have turned out nearly as selfish and might have even been better at socialising through people, since Chris’s ego I feel has always been his biggest flaw and downfall, next to his sexuality.

That's a fair reaction to the Liquid saga though.

He can play Backstreet Boys on acoustic guitar, good for him. He's better at Chris Chan at everything he does, good for him. He gets to keep the naggy land whale, good for him. Still doesn't really do much to change how hilariously strange all of this is.

On one hand I can see how they’d not understand autism since it was just emerging into public knowledge at the time but on the other they were offered help and refused to take so it’s on them.

Also the being better than everyone attitude is also somewhat understandable since back then autism was treated similarly to how trans is now where employees, teachers and so on would be terrified of offending autistic kids and risk facing the wrath of their Karen moms as well as being labelled a bigot/fired/reprimanded so would often instead just let them be a nuisance to everyone.

I’m sure Barb would have loved abusing the power of the autism card and since Chris since can’t tell the difference between respect and people feeling sorry for him my guess is he just assumed he must be special.

Oh the Autism card, if they knew what they could do with it would have been abused to hell and back.

I do remember like 12 years ago and earlier most forms mild->light autism was classified as "they are a dreamer" or "he comes from a poor family" even "trouble focusing", these days all these kids with labels is freaky, 90% of us have something but to label it and put it in a permanent record feels weird. Everyone has something but to hear these kids talk about "I have ADHD so I need pills to focus" or their addiction to mental disorders where they get a positive feedback loop for creating fake disorders on the internet and getting praised for it by other dumb kids, Chris would have fit in perfectly if he was born in 2010.

I think it's funny. Compare Chris to someone like Martin Bryant, who has Asperger's plus an IQ of 66, proving that autism coincides with mental retardation. Martin was infinitely more attractive in his youth, had three real, normal girlfriends. One of them an older woman (in her 40s), who he probably murdered to get an inheritance of 500,000 dollars, another two young woman, who were prettier than Megan. This man went onto kill 35 people in a bed and breakfast and is now a hideous nonverbal, who trades sexual favors for chocolate. Martin also mirrored Chris in upbringing except that Martin's parents were much more affluent and educated and had no idea their tard baby was an Aspie until he murdered innocent people.

I'm telling you all this because it's hilarious to know that Chris is probably even more retarded than an Aspie with an IQ of 66...and even more socially inept. I can't wait for the daily mail to profile how a 45 year old Chris is now nonverbal and getting his filthy anus rejected.

Autism and low IQ aren't always comorbid. It's not uncommon, but also wouldn't be considered common. There are autists with insanely high IQs, and regular low IQ tards who aren't autistic.

Exactly, and just based on the functioning of someone with an IQ of 66, who had a girlfriend and could still go out and get menial jobs despite coming from money, Chris has to be pretty fucking low on the IQ spectrum. Insanely high IQs are only common in true savants, btw, which is exceedingly rare.
