Doesn't he think sex alone is the same thing as love? He’s always had disturbing views on sexuality.
I thank the gods I can’t read his mind, so I don’t know. Based on following him for years, I personally don’t think he comprehends “love” like the average person does. I think he had pure childlike affection for his father and his dog and honestly missed them when they died. He loved them (to the best of his simpleminded abilities) without lusting after them. I’d like to think he loved Barb independently of lust at some point in his adult life. But above all else he loves himself, and if almighty Chris wants sex, that’s all that matters.Doesn't he think sex alone is the same thing as love?

I do wonder sometimes what would have happened if Megan ever game him romantic attention and they became a couple. I'm pretty sure she would have tard wrangled him hard, and probably, just probably, Chris would have never needed to fuck Barb or even troon out.Fixed that for you.
Chris lives in a cartoon world, and when you look at cartoons closely, you see they're actually pretty fucked up (even before Chris gets to them).
Think?
Chris' concept of love is even worse than his understanding of sex. It's framed entirely around himself. Put simply, Chris loves himself and wants other people to love him too, but the idea of him actually loving other people is utterly incomprehensible to him. At best he wants other people to make himself happy and thinks that's "love".
It seems to me he was using Barb more as a masturbation aid more than actually lusting for her, and that is so, so much worse. Chris fucked Barb not so much because he lusted after her (much less loved her), but simply because she was readily available right down the hall and couldn't stop him.
tl;dr: As awful as you might think Chris is, he's actually far, far worse.

Romantic attention and coupling does not fix people. She’d have got tired of him taking advantage of her and left him. Jerry Brudos and Dennis Rader had wives and all the sex they wanted. It didn’t fix them.I do wonder sometimes what would have happened if Megan ever game him romantic attention and they became a couple. It definitely was an unusual series. As you say, Robert mentioned quite a few times that Chris is a bad person, but always was quick to preempt/ follow up with an explanation blaming an external factor (often, 4chan or the Farms). It definitely felt like he was walking on eggshells.I listened to the second part, and the host tries so hard to act as if Chris doesn't know any better and was manipulated into saying he raped his mom, and making sure he stands out for not misgendering Chris around his tranny guest. Robert Evans is a chaser, so I'm not surprised he handled it this way after pulling no punches about terrible people in his other episodes.

Chris is pretty much locked in his own mind and is unable to truly see the existence of other minds because extreme autism or ego.Chris' concept of love is even worse than his understanding of sex. It's framed entirely around himself.
in chris's mind megan would be the one who needed to change for him. he wanted a "sweetheart to build from the ground up" so theres no way he would have been willing to accept that he was the person in the relationship that needed to change.I do wonder sometimes what would have happened if Megan ever game him romantic attention and they became a couple. "Sweetheart from the Ground-Up" seems to be CWCish for a girl groomed to be "Barb 2" who serves him unquestioningly."sweetheart to build from the ground up"
Maybe I am retarded but I thought the "from the ground up" part was that he thought the process would go that they were friends and then became lovers, like he thought he was with Megan. I don't really recall Chris ever talking about wanting to change or mold a girlfriend into being a certain way. He seems like he considers (or considered, past tense at this point) anyone who would tolerate and care for him to be acceptable. Current day Chris though I could see having a list of demands that his significant other would have to comply with, which is ironic since nowadays he is even less worthy of being the one to make demands in a relationship.in chris's mind megan would be the one who needed to change for him. he wanted a "sweetheart to build from the ground up" so theres no way he would have been willing to accept that he was the person in the relationship that needed to change.
The trooning out thing seems to be a lot to do with his autism, he doesn’t seem unique in not really having a sense of self before and not liking stereotypical concepts of masculinity such as work, ’brutish violence’ and sports, much prefering what he saw in female characters in anime, cartoons as well as general stereotypical views of women.the trooning out is more complicated. chris is very easy to manipulate and he always had a disposition to wanting to be a woman. once bob was dying chris started associating with a bunch of enablers who convinced him that he could become a lesbian. bob was realistically the only one who could have stopped it but at that point he was dying and there was nothing he could do. once chris latches onto something he can't help himself so this would have happened one way or another. it is just a matter of planting the seed in his head and letting it grow.
I think he eventually got over that once he got laid by a hooker and realised he wasn’t satisfied but Chris still doesn’t really comprehend love since he has no/little theory of mind and only considers his wants and needs.Doesn't he think sex alone is the same thing as love?
how so?
in recent years there’s an increase in women characters taking up that role while often even getting the pretty girl while men are made more inept and sidelined.
cartoons
Chris pretty much became a cartoon character IRL. Not just in the way he talks and acts, but even his body is like a caricature.Cartoons get away with weird ass shit you can't do in live action because people don't look too closely because everyone knows they aren't real.

Chris wants to be some kind of pony goddess who is somehow the "good guy" despite that obese ego and his lack of ability to forgive.Oh he wants to be.
A lot of men, when meeting a woman they want to fuck, won't just come out with "Hi, you're hot, my hormones are slam banging, do you have a boyfriend?", but Chris will/has done. We have to remember that Barb told him to stop telling people he's a virgin with rage, which, like his attraction sign, was something he was doing in public, with strangers.Such as? I would think most men are pretty up front and obvious in their motives. Everyone knows we all want the same things: the T.V. remote and maybe a sandwich to go with it.
But seriously, we're talking about getting laid, not international espionage.
Seems the only times Chris really learned something has been when it's related to "hanky-panky" and "romps in the hay" - or food.We have to remember that Barb told him to stop telling people he's a virgin with rage, which, like his attraction sign, was something he was doing in public, with strangers.
CWCki on Chris and writing said:Chris was trained to think of the intro paragraph as the "appetizer"; the body paragraphs, respectively, as "veggie", "potatoes/rice/pasta" and "meat"; and the conclusion as "dessert" (anything related to food seems to reach Chris).
