Does candlemaking somehow result in criminal descendants? Because Chandler is an occupational surname like Miller or Baker, just for candlemakers.
Historically, "chandlers" were basically hobos that would wander around the countryside, stopping at people's houses to render down tallow to make the people candles in exchange for some meals and a place to sleep in a barn. They were pretty low down on the totem pole since rendering fat is an ungodly smelly and nasty process, so they were always greasy and smelled to high heaven.

Is it possible Chris is in a hospital and the status just hasn’t updated yet?

Only if he was moved there in the last day or so. Sometimes they can be a little slow about updating their online records, but they're not that slow (although they can't seem to keep their dates in order).

Any word when a possible trial date will be? Or has it already happened?

They've moved the venue to The People's Court, so check your most recent TV guide. They're talking all about it over on twitter, so it must be true.

I actually have no idea, although I love the fact that the order numbers are out of order like the judge is a time traveler or something. They're in order of the number of the order number, not the date.

I like the idea of a judicial TARDIS, but I suspect they're hard coded in the order the court clerk bothers to enter them into the database, which means the court clerk is just about as diligent as whoever set up that database.

I would also never trust a Chandler. Chris is not only not the most prolific criminal Chandler in Virginia, he's not even in the top ten, and he's something like the third most prolific criminal Christine Chandler, and there are numerous other criminal Christian Chandlers too.

I'm honestly surprised. I would have expected his criminal nature to have come from his Weston forebears.

I thought it meant someone who sells boat supplies, because French stopped having to make sense once the English got hold of it.

so they were always greasy and smelled to high heaven.

Suddenly it all makes sense…

This wouldn't surprise me or anyone else.

The only reason why I don't think he's fucked up his deferred disposition (yet) is he still seems to be at CVRJ. Once he does fuck it up, it won't take them long to bung him straight into prison. They won't wait for a bed to come available. "Welcome to our overcrowded prison system, Fatty!"

Why is Chris so enamored by Meg Griffin?

Truly a mystery of the ages.

There's a rumor going around chris has been released and posting it on Twitter? I'm gunna assume this is just like the jailbreak rumor, complete and utter bullshit.

off topic to the current discussion but it’s still a thought that’s been on my mind.
chris has said he leaves all his vidya consoles and computer on constantly. so, i’m assuming they’ve still been on for over a year with no one playing them? cuz i highly doubt barb is messing with his electronics. that can’t be good for the electric bill, or the consoles, can it?

Wouldn't that also be another fire hazzard? Even if they were left on, there may have been a black out and shut down everything. It just means that Barb would use more of Chris' tugboat to pay the bills (if she has access to his account).

I'm 99.99% sure it's a hoax this christuber shared but it appears to have been posted from either a new account or an old account with a changed name. I think it probably originated from 4chan though posted by some bored ween looking to get people excited.

I always had a feeling candles were autistic, but could never place my finger on it.

I bet even Chris doesn't know what his last name means and the most important thing in the world to Chris is himself.
True. Chris was more interested in the Weston side since it came from royalty (spoiler: it didn't - that was just a narc delusion Chris was fed by Barb). Unless there was was a famous Chandler, Chris couldn't give a fuck. Another black mark on Bob's legacy.

In one of the latest Chris letters, he describes Heilberg being frustrated about the courts not finding him a tard home and eventually settled on going back to Western for, in Chris's words, a "group home".

The fact that Chris going to a group home might actually be within the realm of possibility shows just how radically different Chris's situation has become.
