You know, watching that Autism Tutorial with Director's Commentary, it made me realize that I don't think I ever watched the original one. Probably because at that point, I wasn't really watching most of the Chris videos that were coming out as most of them were stupid, especially the LBP ones as I didn't care to hear Chris go on for 20 minutes about how Sony didn't have a shirt in the exact color he drew for himself in the comics or something stupid like that.
Anyways, it got me thinking and I bet someone else has made this observation - has Chris considered the possibility he has social anxiety? I know he's mentioned "noviophobia" way back but that was limited to a particular form in the sense he feared being rejected by a woman on the basis they're already in a relationship. Unless I'm misinterpreting his latest content, at this point Chris is desperate for any type of human contact, even if it's not necessarily sexual. It seems that fearing approaching people to establish friendships would very much be more standard social anxiety and there's all sorts of things he can do for that. In the very least, he could at least talk to his doctor about changing his meds such that the drug covers social anxiety and his "stress" - I have no idea if Chris experiences any sort of physical symptoms of social anxiety but if he does, medication can at least control that.
But then again, it's far easier for Chris to convince the world to put down their electronics and approach him while he's on his electronic device.
