Honestly, I would probably watch him, but I would probably leave him alone. I can't think of anything that I could do that would be better or worse than what has already been done.

I'd wonder how and why he came to Indiana in the first place.

Seriously, though, I would laugh quietly to myself, think Oh my god, it's really him, then get on with the rest of my day. If he happened to wander over to where I was, I might say hello. But I wouldn't expect much, if any kind of response from Chris.
 
Still not what 'couture' means ... Certainly not in a fashion or artistic sense....

You're both absolutely right and I don't know why I even beat myself up over that one. power levels: I do high-end costuming and am a fashion historian, so please forgive me when it creeps loose from time to time. Also sad week of losing very old and dear friend, so down in the dumps. But you guys are totally right, I just wasn't thinking, didn't have on the right hat, need to switch to the tinfoil one. which I could make for you too, it would be couture!,

I've got a money making idea for Chris: He should produce more SANIC totems and sell them. They'd sell like crazy -- who wouldn't want to have one of these creepy fuckers and put it in the yard to frighten kids? Also, red LEDs could be inserted into the eyes and lit up after dark for extra effect.
He could also make yellow and pink versions -- Sonichu and Rosechu totems. If he made one a week and sold each for 200 US$, he'd have a substantial extra income to blow on Transformers merch.

Clearly he won't do it on his initiative. Asking him to or giving him money to do so doesn't seem to work.
He only seems to continue the story when china is an option or if someone takes his creative control away from him.
Is there even a point?

Someone from here should just continue the Sonichu story without him. Surely that would be enough to coax Chris out with another comic?

Well, he expressed a want for someone else to draw sonichu from now on with the announcement of Sonichu Entertainment of America. So I think for that to work the new author needs to be a JERK (male) and it needs to catch his attention, so we'd need his 'associate' or that lesbian couple to talk about it.
