Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

It would have also helped if he had tried to find a job with his degree, though I doubt most employers would have been willing to hire someone who took literally six years just to obtain his A.A.
Once more, Autism could have been the right card to play. I don't know about the US, but where I live there's plenty of jobs open to handicapped people since those jobs are encouraged (and supported) by the government. Wouldn't be surprised if there was something similar in Virginia...

I guess we'll see a lot of weird stuff and coping mechanisms next year around june or whenever Chris realizes it's become impossible to get the daughter he was BASICALLY PROMISED.

He can get a job. But it is hard to see him getting a job that uses his degree.

If a CADD degree is taken seriously it can be a real thing. I met a girl who was doing one. From the way she described it, CADD to architect is somewhat similar to nurse to doctor or paralegal to lawyer. She had various internships and drafting certifications which qualified her to either do architect stuff supervised by an architect or do smaller parts of an architecture job on her own. From what she described a job that used a CADD degree (although maybe PVCC is different or lesser) would be a pretty serious, technical job.

No employment program for people with disabilities is designed to place disabled people in that type of job. And while I am sure a decent proportion of autistic people have the abilities necessary to get that type of job on their own merits, Chris is not among that group.

How did Chris even pass the CADD degree? He hardly seems like someone with an aptitude for architecture-based work, given that he has no ability to approximate weights and distances.

My guess is that he kept failing and retaking his classes so many times that his professors decided to pass him so that they wouldn't have to deal with him for another semester

There are services such as vocational rehabilitation to help clients obtain extremely simple jobs such as sorting glass, shredding paper or bagging groceries, but since Chris isn't a slow-in-the-mind I doubt he would qualify for said services. Plus Affirmative Action doesn't apply to people with disabilities, thus making his autism another employment barrier on top of his white male privilege.
In my town, we have something called "Lott Industries" that do employ the kind of people Chris would not associate himself with.

Which was a waste to begin with.

Which if he had applied himself to what he was doing (besides that mall), he would have a fairly good portfolio to show to any potential firm he may try to seek employment in, if only just to get a food in the door and work his way up.

Again, a waste of time.

Wouldn't surprise me (they already wasted 6 years on him).

If Chris lived in New York City where would he live? Don't say Rikers Island. I'm willing to say somewhere that is predominantly white, say Mill Basin.

Is there like, a poor person's version of those counties outside of NYC proper? I can't really imagine him in NYC. My knowledge of NYC is a bit limited:

Manhattan:
Too expensive by even normal standards, Chris would be too cheap to live here.

Queens:
Flushing has a shitload of Asian people. He might be able to weeb out there, though it's mostly Chinese and Koreans there. Don't know shit about the other neighborhoods in Queens.

Bronx:
Fuck if I know anything about the Bronx. I guess there's Harlem but Chris would freak out if he saw streets full of black people. Chris isn't a full on white supremacist but he's definitely uncomfortable around black people and streets full of them would just scare him shitless. Lots of DIRTY, CRAPPED BRIEFS.

Brooklyn:
Possible, are there any non-gentrified neighborhoods left? Park Slope is gentrified, Willamsburg obviously, etc. Crown Heights is a big Jewish neighborhood, he'd probably be uncomfortable there.

Staten Island:
Most probable candidate - I've heard it described as "what Puerto Rico is to the US, Staten Island is to NYC." Things could get serious between Chris and A-Log if he lived there.

If Chris lived in NYC, I bet Bob and Barb would have a rent controlled apartments as they're old as hell and Chris would be living in like, a 4 bedroom apartment somewhere nice and only paying $200 a month whereas struggling artists and actors are paying a grand to live in someone's closet (utilities not included, no access to kitchen).

Chris would probably live in Staten Island it's cheap and white, probably the furthest south end, the north end has a strong lgbt community though. Harlem is in Manhattan though.

So I was scrolling through the Dragonball wiki, getting caught up for seeing the new movie with friends, when I stumbled across Super Saiyan 4 and realized it looked really familiar.

Those sections of red that look like a spandex shirt are actually fur. We know Chris refers to Dragonball a bit (particularly Punchy's tail and the attack names) but now I wonder if he's seen recent stuff or at least looked at pictures.

the instructors are community colleges are probably used to seeing people stick around for years or even decades, I doubt they would be afraid to fail Chris like the teachers at MHS

possibly a housing project but they have long waiting lists

Lol, hello fellow Toledoan and yes, I thought of Lott as well. But I doubt he would do the type of work they take on.

Does he know about the concept of mail-order brides?
That's not TRUE and HONEST love!

Chris spends plenty of time on the internet and must have stumbled on information about it by now, but he couldn't afford a mail-order bride.
He'd have to pay for her travel, pay the service fees from the agency, and then pay to support her while she looked for work. He hasn't got that kind of money, especially right now. Perhaps once Barb dies and he ends up in a group home Julay he's alone, he will bite the bullet and attempt it.

Someone pointed this out last time time this came up: Chris may be pathetic, but many women would see him as a better catch than many men in their homeland. Think about that. :o

I doubt they really see him as a man of their dreams, rather the more practical: house, high income compared to their own country, US citizenship, car (a BMW no less!), not physically abusive. Chris meets all those criterion.

Chris would be super passive in that situation.

She could probably steal his car and vanish for three months. Chris would text her a hundred times a day asking when she'll be back with the groceries.

Glad to find someone else here that knows where I'm coming from..

Now I'm just thinking of that photo of Chris at his college graduation proving he can never let go of his high school days that easily.

This is regarding Null's message on the locked thread pertaining to Chris' new "SpergWeb" site, and the associated parties involved in the creation of it. So it was decided a while back that we don't mention Tweedle Dumb and Tweedle Dumber, and it had to do with the fact that the two of them were consistently baiting Christorians into shifting focus away from Chris and onto them. Waterboy basically requested to be trolled in Chris' place, and everybody saw it for the lame attention begging that it was. Well, at this point these two have become Chris' own little gang and are actively participating in spreading the name and artistic works of CWC online. If they weren't LOLcows before, they basically are now so refusing to acknowledge them and their commitment to becoming Christory themselves is silly. We covered Anna and A-Log, we ought to keep tabs on this new partnership. I doubt it will pan out positively for any of them, but it will definitely produce some unintentional comedy.

If it genuinely relates to Chris, sure, it's important.

However, this isn't Chris' site. A certain sperg is writing it, filling out all the content. No one cares about that site, least of all Chris. Unless that changes, I see no reason to discuss it.
