Wait, what? So Chris got some other middle-aged woman (... or man dressed like one) to film for him?
He must've.
Do the people who are more plugged-in to Chris's world have any idea who did the filming then? If it's not Barb, and assuming it's not Rocky, then........who? I can't imagine him corralling a random stranger in McDonald's to film 11 excruciating minutes of Manbaby's Lego Adventures.

....I just had a thought. Could this be a manaJERK at McDonald's? It seems like he's there all the time, I'm sure the staff is at least familiar with him by sight now. The McD's around my old place always seemed to be fairly tolerant of loiterers and weirdos - I guess it's not completely out of the realm of possibility that he might have struck up an acquaintance with a few of the employees.
Why are you assuming it's not Rocky? I mean, I don't know who it is, it could be anyone, really. Just not Barb.

Do you know what happened with Dana Mahri, if anything? In early 2012 they talked a bit back and forth over Facebook, and he has met up with her a couple of times (she invited him to a party on the 9th of March and "it was so good to see you!!! I will call and we can hang out soon! :)"), but she seems to be pretty AWOL now.

Nothing happened to her, as far as I know. I suspect she wasn't that close with Chris in the first place.

Maybe she's trapped somewhere in the hoard. :|

No, Barb didn't film it. She's mostly stuck in 14BC.
Is this because she's immobilized by disability/the hoard, or is it more of a mental/personal decision thing?

It's likely more so the latter than the former. Considering she's lost a lot of weight since the :snorlax: days

Chris still hasn't responded to my Facebook messages, by the way. I've also subscribed to his Youtube account, in the event he posts a new video.

he never will reply to your messages. He never writes back to people anymore b/c he is paranoid.

I was at Sephora (makeup) inside JCPenney today, and I got a glimpse of how Chris acted in stores back when Barb dumped him off at TRU back in the day--hell, he might still act like it today. This special girl who was about Chris' age was wondering around, bugging the worker there every five minutes asking questions about how much things were (the prices are clearly marked on all displays), and the same questions over and over again about the Bare Minerals products. I could tell the girl working there was losing her patience with her.

The latter, most likely. Barb's health isn't great, but I don't think health is what's keeping her inside 14BC.

The cwcki just reminded me that today is the six year anniversary of shecameforcwc.

I noticed in the Nostalgia Critic "Les Mis" review there was a tiny shout-out to Cole: "There's even some people who didn't like Toy Story 3!" Granted, that's less directed toward Cole's review as it is to the more widely circulated article that pointed out there were only two critics who didn't like TS3.

So congrats, Cole. You are now known, however distantly, as "the guy who didn't like Toy Story 3." Hope that career plan works out for you.

You know what I love about Cole, he's simultaneously the toughest film critic (Toy Story 3) and the most laid back (Freddy Got Fingered)

Oh, wait. He's just a hipster douche who spews unpopular opinions to be "edgy"

Time for a very random thought . . .

I wonder if Chris is afraid of women named Julie or if the names of his e-girlfriends bring back bad memories? Or possibly he tries not to remember that stuff. I don't know. Just a thought I've been pondering for a bit.

It wasn't until today that I realized the Cole emails are pretty fucked up…on Cole's part.
He ends 3 emails with his autistic half brother with a variation of "Tell me when your dad dies so I can celebrate!"

You act like if a girl IRL really hit on Chris he'd be like "sorry, no. That name of yours brings back bad memories"

Here's something I was wondering that I wasn't able to find in a topic search, (unsurprising since it absolutely doesn't warrant an entire thread)..

Has anyone ever tallied up the total running time of all Chris's videos? I'm curious as to just how much content he generated before finally figuring out that he should stop. I'm totally willing to tally this up for myself, but I figured I'd ask in case it's already been done. Please forgive my shitty search skills If this question has already been asked.

Who has little to no idea when it comes to genre films that aren't directed by Stanley Kubrick. This can never be stressed enough.

The world is full of people who make similar statements. It's also full of people who make those statements who then go radio-silent after said death.
