I think that was about Jackie asking him to take down some of his toys and grow up a bit. Naturally, Chris can't accept that he chose to do what she asked and she didn't force him; he has to blame her so that he can keep acting like a blameless victim.

Actually, I wonder if some of that didn't contribute to his current obsession with legos...

I doubt it. They were both old and decrepit. While it's true that they hadn't fucked in over twenty years, I'm pretty sure they both knew at that point that it was either stick together or die alone.

Now, if Chris were a neurotypical child and The Borb didn't have to keep babying him throughout his childhood, I'd bet they'd see that their marriage had some real problems and they'd probably get divorced.

I suppose the answer depends on just how extensive the county's efforts to get into the Chandlers' lives really were. As in, what is just a question of putting Chris in a friendlier academic environment, or were they also acting on other, more urgent concerns such as neglect?

Either way, the Chandlers concluded it was better just to get outta Dodge.

Charlottesville was probably close enough for them to fuck with them in. In fact, a big city, like their target, was probably the best target. Particularly considering that they lived in a decent state that wasn't in the sticks.

Borb might have been shitty enough parents to raise concerns from school teachers and administrators, maybe they thought Chris might be better off with a foster family or institution equipped to handle severly autistic kids

Chris and Barb's Daily Schedule?

Now that Chris and Barb's house have burned down, I don't believe they are quite as able to sit around and do nothing all day.

Barb at least has to be on the phone with people, discussing renovations for 14BLC. She probably has a tight leash on Chrissy dear, and may even be meaner to him, since the keurig fire kind of happend on his watch.

Do any of the insiders know what their daily activities are now? Does Barb hoard at Goodwill still? Does Chris still run errands and loiter at deparment stores? Or is he any more productive?

Id just like a general idea..
