Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

I’d pay some good C Quarters to see the project Chris would have made for his masters. An even bigger mall?

That’s... Disappointing. I guess we’re down to the ten button electric chair then, as the only actually original thing in Sonichu.
Maybe you could argue Mary Lee Walsh and the jerkops... Sure mlw was a real person but I can't think of any...oh wait queen Beryl from sailor moon never mind

Some kiwis in the updates thread are thinking barb finally kicked cause Chris has gone silent similar to when Bob died.

Personally I think it's just the hurricane that ripped through va recently and Chris is just trying to keep things together as best as a lazy dumbass can

I doubt that Chris would be silent if Barb croaked.

When Bob does Chris had Barb to take care of, and he was much more normal then.(relatively!)

So he did what normal people do in a time of tragedy: Get the fuck off online.

When Barb dies, Chris has nobody. His IRL networks are worse off then when Bob passed, and he’s living in his fantasy world much of the time.

So quite the opposite, I’d expect Chris to really tard out online with his merge and fantasy stuff when Barb kicks the bucket, as well as look for as many E-asspats as he can get.

I don't know so much. He's going to be devastated and in that state people rarely revert to type. I'd imagine he'll leave the house and be taken in by somebody sympathetic in the community. People here like to speculate that Chris and Barb are totally insular but they have neighbors who they presumably know and other people in the community that they interact with reasonably regularly. I'd suspect that Chris' condition is fairly well known and I doubt anybody is going to refuse to help a sobbing autistic man who says his mom has died. Anyway there's a containment thread for this shit.

They’re pretty much local outcasts. Not just talking about all the local stores and fast food places Chris has managed to get himself banned from, but they’re also unpopular with their neighbors and community.

(Chris made a video a few years ago, about how they were spending Christmas alone, since people in Ruckersville are cold hearted and think they’re above the Chandlers.)

Barbs family have also cut them off, and church was always more Bob’s thing, so yeah... Chris doesn’t really have anyone IRL.

It's odd that his take was that people of his town were cold-hearted when, if he doesn't talk to any of them, they would have no idea that they spent the day alone. Speaking from personal experience, a few years ago I lost five family members within the span of a little over a year and spending Christmas with what remaining family I had was a blessing, something I never thought of complaining about. Stuff like that is what makes people dislike Chris, not his crappy drawings and mental problems - but he'll never realize that.

Well. They’ve pulled enough shit locally to make it more than just a case of folks not being able to read Chris’s mind.

But yeah. Some of it is his autism and some his massive sense of entitlement, but Chris expects everyone to center their world around him.

Like back in the attraction saga, when he basically showed up at local libraries, and would expect attractive girls younger than him to come over and introduce themselves (and offer possible China) because they should know that Chris is too shy to come up and be a sexpest unprompted.

Shopping malls, his college campus briefly, and retail stores actually I think the library was the only place Chris didn't solicit for China

So tried a little experiment for shits and giggles. I started filing out an order in the domino's website but as soon as I entered 14 branchland CT the site kept giving me error messages, almost like it was refusing to accept an order to go there even though imeven if someone or Chris himself did try sending pizza there it's possible to pay for it in advance tip including on the site.

And before you call me a ween I wasn't trying to send Chris any pizza paid for or otherwise. I just wanted to see if dominoes blacklisted or blocked him in someway and it seems like they have.

Other than cooking blue apron meals, processed foods, making sandwiches, and heating hot pockets, when's the last time Chris had done real cooking?

On Thanksgiving 2016, Chris showed his meals while shilling for Cutco.

Lololol!

The Chandlers are undoubtedly blacklisted by every takeout place in a 50 mile radius. It even led to one of Chris’s (rare) recent chimpouts.

The food he’s cooking looks like just what you’d expect from Chris. Or an 8 year old.

Macaroni and cheese hot dogs...wow what a depressing way to spend Thanksgiving. I mean I know the Weston and Chandler families have pretty much cut off all ties with Chris but he couldn't even grill chicken with a box of instant stuffing, mash, canned corn and a jar of gravy? I mean not to power level but I grew up poor as fuck in the 2000s but my mom always made sure we had enough to go out someplace Nice on Thanksgiving when no one in the family invited us to dinner

I forgot about the ham-bomination. IIRC turkey was too much so he bought a turkey-ham roast thing, and seeing how parts of it are stuck to that utensil still makes me feel weird. At least he didn't burn his house down though.
He got 800 in tugboat on or around the third that month, not counting whatever barb took for rent and you're telling me he couldn't set aside some of it to get a turkey to put in his freezer? Oh who am I kidding of course not it's Chris he couldn't set aside anything unless it was an expensive toy out of his usual spending money

Chris’s tugboat is significantly more though, isn’t it? I believe the 800 was while Bob was still alive. After his death I think it went up to 1200$ or more.

EDIT: Yup. Chris would get 1200-1400 dollars a month. Plus possible additional tardbux that Chris is fortunately too lazy to apply for.
