For some reason, there are a few actual transgender people who support the tucutes for God even knows what reason.
I'm guessing it's probably tied into the Geek Social Fallacies, because this is Tumblr, after all, and it's entirely comprised of hipsters and nerds.

Jesus fucking Christ, first it was this feminism sperging about Mad Max on my dashboard, I mean yay for awesome women characters, but I really don't need this circlejerk in my face and it's making me pretty much avoid the movie whatsoever (maybe if I watched it before it took over my dash, but as of now, goddamn nope) and now these special snowflakes will start chiming in too.
Remind me to watch this movie like, next year when everybody forgets about it.

I'd just ignore that shit. It's getting nearly universal raves (98% on RottenTomatoes which is virtually unheard-of).
It has strong female characters. That's called being a good movie, because nobody wants to watch crap with paper thin characterizations, etc.

Well, depends on what ''strong female characters'' means in each occasion. Many writers/directors seem to consider that merely having a female character ''kickin' ass'' is all that is needed to make her a good role model. In my opinion they should rather pay attention to what end she does all the ass kickin' for, or just focus on their inner views and struggles. I haven't seen the new Mad Max yet, I just wanted to comment on the above a bit, pardon my blathering.

I said I'm not denying them as a good characters, I just don't like people screeching on my dash like rabid monkeys when something comes out, and this goes out for every sort of hype I'm seeing around. Same happened for Interstellar and while I wasn't profoundly disappointed, I felt it was overhyped.
I'm just saying people are screeching over my dashboard and it's not on rare occasion they tie in some over-the-top feminism. It's in same range as those MRA fuckwits.
