Tumblr is still a shithole for the vast majority of the site, but over the years things have changed so much that it's easier to find sanity on tumblr than it is on reddit, because while tumblr algorithm creates echochambers, at least it doesn't have reddits powermod and voting problem where anything even slightly disagreed upon by the crazies is downvoted into oblivion if not straight up removed.


Tumblrites proudly reposting 4chan posts, I feel like there was a point in time where Tumblr would cancel you for even admitting you visit Reddit, let alone 4chan.



Also, idk if it's been mentioned already, but tumblr has a shop now??
