The big headcannon is that carnivores were blacks being imposing on the super peaceful predators. People like to back this up with the original idea of the shock collars for extra brownie points. But SJ's being SJ's completely fail to miss the point of the movie. Instead of the message being "everything isn't perfect and we have our differences, but we should treat each other how we would like to be treated" its "muh racism metaphor."

:autism:
If we're really gonna equate the story in Zootopia with racism, consider this: Predators are the equivalent of white people.
'They're dangerous!', 'They've overruled us for too long!', 'We are far more than them in numbers!' (if we consider world population rather than simply those in Western countries), 'Hating us is in their blood!', etc, etc...

I've never actually brought up this 'theory' in front of an SJW but that's mainly bc I'm not suicidal.

But really? imho Zootopia expressed a form of discrimination that went with the logic of the universe it's set in. It tells a new story and narrative rather than lazily copy-paste a specific IRL issue and call it a metaphor. There's a thousand interpretations for it and none is correct, but you can't tell that to certain people.

I'm sure one of the retail workers just put the tank tops back in the boy's section after OP left the store.

In point of fact, retail employees are usually constrained to keep the merchandise where management dictates. I don't recall if I mentioned it in this thread (probably did), but there is a science to product display, and things are grouped according to how they'll sell best. If a girl wants a NASA shirt, she's either going to shop over in the boys' section already (because that's where they can be found), or she'll order from online where she can get one tailored to the female form.

Because let's be real: If a girl's interested in science, she's probably goofing around on the Internet a fair chunk of the time.

So instead of a bold move for feminism, she just made more unpaid work for whatever employee was closing this department that night.

SJW types have a weird relationship with the whole 'Haha! I moved this here for this pc reason! Your welcome.' and then the other side will respond 'you just made an underpaid work's job even more terrible' and then they may argue but usually the retail worker's side wins and the op deactivates. Also if the girl went online she'd probably find a better NASA tank that didnt have that barfy yellow color around the edges of the neck.

It's really not that hard

SJWs don't think farther than their own goals. A normal person who thinks farther than they can see would go "maybe i shouldn't put all these shirts in the wrong area because that would make an associate who works in this store do extra work he wouldn't have to do if i do this particular thing." They live for the right now than in the future.

That'd actually be more believable if he was a retail worker and the old cop was a customer. The shit you hear in retail while someone tries to make small talk is nuts, especially if you worked in an area where the regulars were racist.

"Hello, how are--"

"RRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!"
Awhile back someone I was following would go on about being lonely and would want asks and messages, they moved because too many people were sending them messages.

Personally I saw the different species as different ethnic groups. Judy had no qualms about helping out an otter (a predator) because otters don't prey on rabbits, but she has a specific kind of mace, made for rabbits, to ward off foxes, a species that preys on rabbits. She doesn't exhibit any fear towards Clawhauser, either, probably because cheetahs are more associated with preying on antelopes and gazelles. Neither predator nor prey is strictly whitey or POC, because often the line that defines "whiteness" gets blurred. A hundred years ago the Irish weren't considered white. There are native Europeans with dark skin. Different ethnic groups have histories that run deep. There are still Greeks upset about the fall of the Byzantine Empire to the Turks. Japan is super racist towards Koreans and Koreans are still sore from the damage of WWII. I liked that about Zootopia because it gave a lot of nuance to how different species were viewed, while not being a completely rigid allegory. BUT ANYWAY...

We have reached peak Tumblr.

DON'T YOU KNOW CARTOONS ARE JUST PUPPETS?

Ah yes, people will be clamoring for bookmarks of beloved characters where you can only recognize half of them.

Why tf is Neville black now? Hell, why ISN'T Lupin black? How are they determining who gets race-bent and who doesn't? I can't keep up with these people. (:_(
Someone should do black-Draco or black Tom Riddle just to see how they'd react.

The Hetalia fandom was awful and there were several incidents where people dressed up like Nazis and acted exceptional (like the notorious incident where Hetalia cosplayers pointed fake guns at a synagogue and took pictures), but the Steven Universe, Homestuck, and other fandoms are just as bad. Not to mention a good chunk of tumblr kids started as Hetalia weebs (who then jumped ship to Homestuck and after that jumped to Steven Universe, Undertale, and whatever other fandoms popular on tumblr).

The most common horror stories I heard about the Hetalia fandom were actually kids trying to harass and touch people inapropriately, which was also pretty common with Homestucks.
