Also I'm convinced that about 85% of the asexual community on Tumblr aren't actually asexual either but rather confused teens who don't fit the stereotype of "boy/girl crazy." If that was the case, then I guess I must of been asexual as a teen as well because sex scared me and I was only psychically attracted to a few guys in the span of several years.

My god, that's exactly what I'm like atm. Quickly, I must write an angst filled essay on why my life is awful!

All of these read as someone who is sex-repulsed (and insecure with that fact), and not asexual. Difference being that sex-repulsed entails that you were probably molested as a child and you find sex icky, while asexual is lack of sexual attraction to anyone in particular. You can still have urges as an asexual, and you can be open to having sex with your partner. It's neutrality, not disgust.

Being someone who can be considered asexual, it plays virtually no role in your life. It isn't anybody's business who you fuck or not, and if someone knows that you don't like anybody and bugs you about it, it's because you told them and only have yourself to blame.

Neither deserve to be considered LGBT, though, I agree. If you're asexual, the only parts that determines if you're LGBT is if you're trans or like to date the same gender.
Asexuals and "asexuals" (read: sex-repulsed and/or haven't finished puberty) pushing for it to be LGBT and date the opposite sex just come off as "b-but I want to be queer too!"

Oppression pie isn't even that tasty. Apple is much better.

Eh, I prefer pumpkin myself, but you're right. A lot of these people claiming asexuality right now are full of shit.

Tumblr is supporting this victim complex shit and enabling it. And there's a weird Tumblr echo-chamber inspired idea that somehow minors are constantly being told they should have all sorts of sex, so they think that not following the echo-chamber idea of what normal people think is somehow a sign of being asexual. Anyone who's fucking sane knows that nobody should be having sex at that age and that nobody is running around telling kids that they need to have a shitload of sex.

On top of that, you get dumbass special-snowflakery like demisexuality, which basically means you don't want to bang someone unless you care about them first. Which is 1. a normal and relatively common variation of sex drive and 2. something consistently idealized in multiple cultures, including the US, so numbnuts trying to say they're oppressed for being demisexual are off their fucking rockers. Or all the other equally retarded "sexualities" like one about intelligence, one that's essentially stalking, etc.

There's a meme going around about leaving your date when they say something "offensive" to you. I have no clues where it started.

And I bet that they thought Ono was just covering for him or something if this was pointed out to them.

Protect them from what?
That breadsticks meme is funny to me because most of the people making them don't date let alone go outside.
These "PROTECT WOC/Trans people/other tumblr approved minority" are creepy.

I feel like all it actually does is promote the idea that people in those groups are perpetual victims who can't handle anything by themselves. It's the exact opposite of progressive, really.

Or that they're like delicate baby birds to fragile to handle the outside world.

I sense some projection.
