Looks like Ken DeMyer of Conservapedia left the battle early
Edit: With the fight between Conservapedia and Rationalwiki, I wonder who'll be gone first?

Hate to say it but sometimes the RatWiki is actually better than the Wikipedia.
Agreed. Their articles on logical fallacies and them debunking things like magicians and some pseudoscience are very good. It's a shame as I don't really like their extremism and their smell your own farts attitude.
I get the feeling that whatever good elements there were at ratwiki left or were forced out by the current woke-insanity people. I think the way they run their site means the sperg with the most free time wins, and the woke assholes have nothing but free time. Maybe Geth could comment more intelligently about how that process went down. It's one of the reasons I initially joined up awhile back, prior to the going full woke phase.
I like the idea of debunking idiots who think drinking bleach is good for you, unmasking phonies who claim psychic powers, and otherwise separating fact from fiction in science and medicine, those are all completely rational and some of their best work.
It's just sad those good aspects of what they do are dragged down by the rest.

Well, I joined some time after they formed up, but the history of the site basically has went through three phases.
Phase 1: Was established purely for taking a shit on Conservapedia.
Phase 2: Decided to be the antithesis of Conservapedia by basically being the ultrarational counterpart and provided actual useful information isntea dof being just a Conservapedia troll hub. I joined around the time they were in this phase.
Phase 3: Gamergate and the rise of SJWism happened, full wokeness set in, SJWism became "rational" and heretics to that were given the same regard as witches during the Salem trials. Around this time we caught their attention, and their former past of being the opposition to Conservapedia became quite embarrassing given many of the things they did made them an uncomfortable mirror of the Farms.
Wow... it seems to be earnest. I really figured it just couldn't be serious but as usual I've underestimated the depths of human stupidity. And to think then some weirdos think then Rationalwiki is even too soft and created SJWiki. I only link to the Encyclopedia Dramatica entry. https://encyclopediadramatica.rs/SJWiki

holy shit you weren't kidding. what is the next extreme after ESSJAYDUBYAwiki?
That's Laurelai (Wesley) Bailey's baby, isn't it?And to think then some weirdos think then Rationalwiki is even too soft and created SJWiki. I only link to the Encyclopedia Dramatica entry. https://encyclopediadramatica.rs/SJWiki

I'm also interested in who the original weakest links were. I assume somewhere around the elevator coffee rape incident, the 90 IQ dangerhairs were finally able to get their teeth into some soybeards and start demanding favors. I noticed that around then, "skeptics" all over retreated without a word, and left the brainlets to sputter out their angry religious stronk womynist rants with absolutely no resistance. I assume the old guard knew that resistance was futile. So how exactly do they decide who gets to be a moderator? It's some vague "everyone is a mod but everyone can reverse your decisions but also there's voting sometimes?" to me, I'm just trying to figure out, did the people from "Phase 2" when they were putting together good articles debunking various shit end up drinking the social justice kool aid, or was it more of a social justice invasion taking over?
PZ Myers, AronRa and Richard Carrier all cucked immediately. Matt Dilahunty did originally, but later (sort of) came to his senses. I think Steve Shives flipped after the fact, but I could be wrong.I'm also interested in who the original weakest links were. Who are you, who are you suing, and why?The VDARE article was written by a high-functioning troll who clearly did his homework, it's accurate on fact and smart about much of his conclusions, even if the author is a racialist or racist white ethnocentrist, blah, blah. I see I was mentioned above, so I registered and am willing to answer questions, if I notice them. Might take some time. Yes, I have filed suit against the WikiMedia Foundation, and John Does 1-9, which some people are guessing are certain people, but I will probably wait to name and serve until the case gets to discovery, if the WMF refuses to negotiate fairly. They retained Jones Day, the largest legal firm in the U.S. I expect, from them, competence.
I wrote who I was suing, but, hey, some people are slow and anyone can fail to notice stuff. The WikiMedia Foundation, for libel by publishing a global ban. They have the right to ban me, but not to publish it, at least that is the legal issue I have raised. It has never been tested. I am Abd ul-Rahman Lomax, you can find me easily in Google, there is a RationalWiki article on me, created by Darryl L. Smith, hence I am now also known as one who has documented this asshole's history. He's far more dangerous than Oliver Smith, who is simply insane, and totally screwed. Darryl has mostly kept his identity private; there is evidence he has been paid for writing "skeptical" articles, pretending to be a rational skeptic. He lies, by which I mean knowingly is deceptive, impersonates to defame, all that.Who are you, who are you suing, and why?
Plenty of websites publish who is banned, I fail to see how that’s illegal.I wrote who I was suing, but, hey, some people are slow and anyone can fail to notice stuff.
