Well I mean, who cares about those icky transMEN, we have to protect the poor oppressed nonbinaries who are literally murdered in the streets every day.

The most annoying part of the drama and the people defending Rory's art simply because she's nonbinary is that they're completely missing the point of the criticism - which, I mean, I guess I should EXPECT from tumblr at this point, but still. You're free to draw whatever fetish art shit you want, but so is everyone else free to call you out on it. Being "nonbinary" doesn't free you from criticism, and when you're drawing porn of characters you specifically state are trans MEN, you don't get a free pass to ignore the actual trans MEN who raise concerns with your content, just because you're "nonbinary".

why do you think lauren zuke came out as nonbinary after her first drama, she was probably hoping being nb would deflect criticism.

It's not an uncommon defense for when a Tumblr user is called out on their bullshit, the only thing they can say to discredit their opponent is "they misgendered me."

Vade famously did that after responding to a laundry list of complaints about her, and that was her only rebuttal. It was the laziest deflection I've seen yet.

PK does this shit, too. Someone will post a list of thoughtful and polite criticism about whatever and she goes on a Twitter rant about how they purposefully misgendered her, micro-aggression, literally the same as physical violence, blah blah blah. Her whiteknight cucks get in on it, too.

I'm a bit surprised Rory hasn't done this.

Very few people have been misgendering them actually. Wouldn't be a sensible argument to make.
