Artcow rcdart / Rory Cummings-Dise - Tranny Fetishist who Torpedoed a Potential Animation Career

And it seems she believes in "nothing is impossible" motto and managed to get even more lazy with her art.

this is such a strange idea to me because..... unless your film is about a super horny character, what does 'you can make your film character asexual' even MEAN? a story not about romance isn't exactly a stunning break from convention (perfectly common), and even then you can say a romance story can still be asexual. ace really just implies not sex. Which I'd figure, you know, most school films aren't going to have anyways.

Every character is presumed heterosexual unless otherwise stated, obviously.

Likewise, as many posts that say "x character is y-sexual, sorry I don't make the rules, sweaty :^)" as there are on Tumblr, it's not REAL representation unless a character explicitly says they're y-sexual in canon.

They made portraits in a less cartoonish style too

(this looks pretty cool to me [except for the hands])

For a second there, I seriously thought the first portrait was a self-portrait because it looks almost exactly like Rory. Then I realized that art students tend to look like they came from Tumblr.

Also why do they all have the same up-turned-nose expression on their faces? Unless she's just freakishly short, was she crouching down before them or what?

she draws everyone with the same nose and eyes, see and compare her kesha and wonder woman art

almost the same face shapes too. rory is really bad at doing the same face syndrome even when she's obviously trying to draw non white people.

tumblr artists are actually bad at drawing black/asian/mexican people because they only draw one face shape/type and add a muddy brown color or give them a big nose and say they're indian.

This is what gets me. Tumblr artists love to draw "variety", but every non-white person is uniformly lumpy, ugly, and deformed. I feel so empowered.
Users that draw glamorous-looking minorities get shit on for conforming to western beauty standards or whitewashing or some other shit about The Man. White users aren't allowed to draw POC because that's appropriation. Then Tumblr screams that there's not enough representation. They're policing their community to make sure that only the most appalling and racist caricatures are allowed.

They really don't see the irony of encouraging ugly non-white drawings at the expense of everything else. Or do they think uglification should be the new beauty standard?

The second one.

If a dude experiences any kind of arousal looking at your depiction of a woman, then it's not empowering.

We must defeat the boners.

Well, a combination of that and that they want their general dumpy, lumpy selves to be considered the beauty standard. It's why you see these looks pushed the most onto hyper-attractive sex symbol characters like Wonder Woman and Power Girl. It's not that it bugs them that erotic looking women aren't empowering, it's that it bugs them because it reminds them of their own flaws more often than not. So they do backflips to make a new beauty standard in their small, contained community while in the real world off the internet, they haven't changed a thing. But they at least FEEL like they did so that's enough for them.

I think the funniest part of all of it is that they seem to have attractions to cartoons with very attractive women instead of entertaining shows with ugly characters. You'd think they'd be all over Big Mouth with how hideous the characters are, because muh new beauty standard, but they go and read America and watch Steven Universe instead.

Okay I usually try to provide commentary with a slight standard of depth but what the fuck even is that kiss? I can't decide whose fucking mouth is worse, the suckerfish or the botox lips that are bigger than his nose. He's gonna end up eating half that femme fuck's face if he's not careful.

Christ, I can't even with this girl's style anymore. How can people possibly look at this shit and find it appealing? I say this as someone who tends to find more bizarre and sometimes less refined artstyles to be interesting: I just don't get what she's trying to appeal to here.
