i'm seeing a lot of people trying to defend her style as a way to encourage young artists, but not bringing up rory's history. like good on you but you missed the entire point on why everyone has a problem with them and their art. but you keep on battling against those scary sjw's!!

Ok can I follow up my own post?
Maybe some slight power leveling ahead.
If I find a piece of questionable art, but really like the art I can usually remove myself from the icky parts of it and appreciate it.
I just cannot do that with Rory. Looking through her nsfw tumblr I honestly feel gross looking at her AWFUL trans Steve. Like I’m the bad guy, it’s honestly Shadman level of ‘I feel like this artist drew this maliciously and I don’t like them.’
Everything thats been said about Steve has probably been said, but that Tony! Does she hate POC? He has the body shape of Oogie Boogie. While Steve is his head placed on a blow up doll, Tony is some melting blob with a dick.

Actually, I think I do recall some things from when Rory was rorpie or rorykcd. It’s just like that person said. She was also extremely rude about using her art for reference and Im pretty sure I saw that kid’s ask and Ror’s responses. Wish I capped before I unfollowed and moved on.

Like many people, I used to like early Adventure Time and I liked Fionna and Cake even more, which lead me to follow Rory when she was Rorpie, and from my memory, she was a major sack of shit to everybody, and I unfollowed when Rory decided that fionna had to be a short fat blob with hairy legs. How dare Fionna be a cute girl!

At least back then, she drew most people skinny lol

I have nothing against artists redesigning characters to be fat or have more curves or whatever. When the artist knows what they are doing, it has a lot of interesting results, and it can be very appealing.

But Rory,.... She has no idea what she is doing?? She seems to have no idea on how a fat body works, so she doesn't know how to make it appealing and interesting in her style (that is already ugly and keeps getting uglier), and all of her attempted redesigns just become really gross caricatures on how she thinks fat people are like.

Now that I think about it, she is not even fat?? Usually fat redesigns come from fat people themselves, but Rory is super skinny??

Does she have a fat fetish or something?

Here's the deviantart exchange brought up in the tumblr post previously mentioned. Had to find a reblog of it since the rorpie tumblr account is deactivated. I also came across these lovely tweets when searching for the deviantart post.

The deviantart post got a lot of attention, if anyone can find a clear link between this zongovongo person and the HotelFruity DA that'd make the harassment story more legitimate. I wouldn't be surprised if it is legit though because of how rabid ass kissing fans of artists can be and the fact that Rory never bothers to censor names when posting screenshots to snark about other people.

Ah, I remember now. It was an anon on Tumblr asking to use her art as reference. I’ve never seen this before.
When was her old account rorpie suspended and why?
Also you guys should never forget when she drew Beth and Chris as a normal, straight couple and the other characters as cis. Hope someone has those drawings somewhere.
