They are also pretending that Shad is some great guy billionaire who cares about them despite him giving a million to trump.
Now, the part I personally enjoy the most, this mod thinks, evidenced by that last line, that they have the only place online to talk about the second biggest wrestling company on earth, a company that gets hundreds of thousands of viewers on TBS and TNT and globally. They are, in a very gay soft way, trying to blackmail people with what little power they think they have into voting for their candidate or being silent about any other options.

The worst part is aew before they brought on CM punk was actually doing pretty good with the bookings.
Fucking Tony Kahn is a proper mark sadly and the AEW fanbase are all sadly mostly the white nerds who believe in vote blue and in this house we believe nonsense and the world is a tumblr quote.

Isn't cousin marriage being a taboo only a recent thing? I know it leads to all sorts of bullshit, but for Millenia wasn't it sorta common? Like I know it was not something you were suppose to do REPEATLLY Or am I mixing it up with 2nd cousin marriage? I know amongst the Jews and Christians cousin marriage gets super complicated but among Muslims they don't care.

cousin marriage is generally(*) fine and doesn't cause problems
(*)except when you repeat it a lot, then the inbreeding damage kind of accumulates over time, so every subsequent generation is affected a little bit more than the last

basically if it happens occasionally it's no big deal, but many muslim countries do it so much that it is a serious problem

Depends on the culture. In pre-Christian Europe May Day was all about villages coming together and coupling off the older teenagers to prevent inbreeding. You know the May Pole that kids wrap ribbons around? Yeah, that's a pagan fertility idol. The royalty would marry off their kids to whoever had the best land and assets. By the 16th century when the Hapsburgs were in charge of half of Europe you started to get the wacky incest that leads to people like Charles V. The whole "rural communities are full of incest babies!" in the US is Hollywood urbanites denigrating rural people. You see this attitude mostly after the Rural Purge of the 60s when networks shifted from westerns/rural based shows to sitcoms about urbanites.

It's interesting, for as much as Jews are said to be inbred, when you look into it, what you find is, yes, some 1st gen cousin marriage, and then A LOT of 2nd/3rd/4th etc cousin marriage that just repeats for a while. And this is in tiny eastern European communities. So Shlomo wouldn't marry his first cousin but would marry his 3rd cousin who would marry his brother's wife's sister (and so on) so you get this issue where genetics don't leave the town that much, but often wives would be found in neighboring Jewish communities to at least bring SOME outside blood in. Also, Jews would have something like 3-5 children per wife, and wives would die from childbirth and stuff, so after a while, the chance of accidentally marrying a half-cousin goes up exponentially. Generally, in Judaism, the idea was to marry people off after they hit 18 and ensure that they didn't have a crazy age gap or weren't related to each other.

The question I have is for a religion as "open" as Islam, why do they INSIST on marrying first cousins?

They think it’s best to marry someone you know and trust, and a cousin is the closest permissible relative. As a bonus, it keeps any land or money in the broader family. The belief is so strong they think it’s in the Quran (it isn’t). Most families have at least one disabled kid, many have several.

They won’t hear a word of it when you try to tell them this is due to genetics. I’ve seen men say that it can’t possibly be genetics that caused their kids’ insanely rare disease because his wife’s sibling married one of his siblings and all of their kids are fine!

I have a relative that converted to Reformed Judaism. It basically affirms radical progressiveness as a religion with more oppression points than being Unitarian universalist or some shit they came from.
I looked up the synagogue and the head rabbi was all about drag queen story telling and. He was viciously hateful against all the "anti-maskers" and "anti-vaxxers" who he blames them for his 90 year old mothers death. The associate rabbi is a pooner.
