Why do people insist on tilting cakes towards the camera? Every country has their own version of "hilarious" home videos and 50% of their content is cakes sliding off platters. It just bugs me when I see it, like watching someone smoke while filling up their car.

NTA. I have been guilty of wanting to take more than my share of something shared in the office. It's tough to resist that temptation.

You could try cutting things into servings so he has to take them one at a time. You could keep it in your office with a note in the common area.

Or, you could keep calling him on being rude until he learns to resist temptation. Just realize that some of us have a VERY hard time saying "no" to food.

god it's just....it's just so hard for me to not deliberately take this plastic knife, cut off a massive hunk of this cake meant for everyone, and gobble the whole thing up. it's so hard....to not do this physical action. It's like that cake is asking for it, for me to come and inhale it, commanding me like a hypnotist.
