Couple decades ago Recovered-Memory Therapy was very fashionable among quack therapists. If any older ladies in your life went through a period of suddenly recalling repressed memories of sexual abuse, then it likely had something to do with an RMT scam. Instead of recovering memories, the techniques they used (hypnosis, guided imagery, dream interpretation) would create false memories that unnecessarily fucked these people mentally. My childhood neighbor fell for it in the 90s, but her therapist mixed fake sexual abuse with fake Satanic rituals. She wrote several crazy blog posts about her "recovered memories" that I wish I could post here. Redditors are bringing it back, but they're doing it to themselves!

Out of curiosity, I did a quick reddit search and there's been a decent amount of discussion on repressed memories on r/CPTSD (shocking). Many posts and comments are skeptical since RMT has been thoroughly deboonked but there are still a good number of true believers. Albeit their definition of "repressed" usually falls somewhere between "events I just forgot about" and "events from before I could even form memories."

Pls affirm my delusions.

To put this in perspective, if this is just counting logged in 'visitors', each of those is a Kiwi Farms in size. They're saying you can only moderate 5 Kiwi Farms, and only one which is at least ten times the viewers of the Kiwi Farms. The powerjannies are complaining that is "incredibly small".
 
Of course power tripping reddit jannies don't see a problem with a handful of retards controlling the narrative all over that site. I wonder what % of these jannies are troons?

True, but the amount of post must be smaller in proportion to visitors, and I imagine the way people post on Reddit is easier to moderate and keep up with, since there are not different Subforums.

No.

The jannies get goverment disability checks (partially because they fucked up their bodies transitioning). They moderate Reddit all day because that is literally the only way they interact with the outside world.

The small amount of power they can exert online is one of the few remaining ways their HRT-fried brains can get dopamine.
 
The funniest part about this is they think they can have some leverage to pushback at this new policy because they feel they personally bring lots of views to the site. They don’t understand that perceived leverage is literally the point of breaking up the powerjanny blocs, any protest would just prove the point that it’s justified.
 
I encountered this organically since I was having the same issue and this was the first result on google.
Not only did the solution not fix my problem, it gave me an overdose of cringe. Fucking Reddit.

Hope the jannies are forced to downsize. I'm already picturing a scenario where they create alts and just to maintain the moderatorship over the subreddits they'll be forced to give up, assuming one of their alts isn't already on the moderation team or something. For all the hard work they're putting in, one must imagine the incalculable wealth they've accrued from their years-long dedication to moderation. I can't imagine being this obsessive and time devoted to something unless they're being a paid a very generous wage for what they're doing. I wonder how much the average janny makes on Reddit? Five digits, maybe six? Lemme look it up... Ah, here it is: $0.00000
