The entire internet is thirsty for her. Journos, just like with everything else they report on, are way behind the times with her.

I dunno, seems like they're saving her for RE8's own multiplayer. I think this is why they're using RE7 Chris in Verse, even though it makes no sense.I assume as part of a DLC.
It's is that or modders are going to find a way to add her.
it's mega baffling considering Capcom already release a(nother) multiplayer focused RE game last year that fucking failed because it was dogshit and Resistance is technically still alive! so why the fuck did they try to make another one barely one year after instead of trying to fix Resistance?Christ, Re:Verse is... Surprisingly bad.
yeah, idk... I've been saying that ever since Resistance was revealed and I bet a lot of people at Capcom know that that's what the people want out of a mp-focused RE, but they're probably told to shut up.Just make Outbreak 3 and cram a shitty pvp mode into that, ffs.
More information on Lady D and her daughters.
The original RE8 concept was 100 mostly naked (!) witches in a castle hunting Ethan. Wtf.
To be fair this was the planning stage & the team was encouraged to come up with unusual ideas:
I actually like this approach for creating unique characters & themes.
Also the game designers got inspired by the Addams family which is awesome.
I like the look as well, it is a very welcome change for this type of setting. To be honest, I've always had a fondness for those 1950's sophisticate fashions. They're beautiful but tasteful without a lot of ostentation.
Wait, Resident Evil has fucking vampires now? When did this happen? The "100 naked witches in a castle" makes a lot more sense when you realize they were probably trying to invoke a lot more of the old Renaissance-era folklore about witches and some of the earlier and less known works in the Gothic tradition.
As for RE8, I'm hyped as fuck and I also have to admit that I like the fact Lady Dimitrescu goes for the mid-20th Century fashions of the 1950's and 1960's as opposed to just wearing the same old cliched Victorian or Edwardian aesthetics seen in Gothic horror.
It makes sense lore-wise as well, since Lady Dimitrescu became a vampire back in the 1950's.
When sludge monsters in RE7 were an eyesore I guess.Wait, Resident Evil has fucking vampires now? When did this happen?

Vampires and zombies aren't really that far removed from one another. One is just a pickier eater.Wait, Resident Evil has fucking vampires now? When did this happen?
RE has Zombies, human-plant hybrids, human-sea creature hybrids, human-insect hybrids etc. it was only a matter of time until enemies who drink blood appear.Wait, Resident Evil has fucking vampires now? When did this happen?
I mean given all that something resembling vampires isn't Impossible. I'm just waiting for them to jump the shark and say everything in resident evil is secretly influenced by the demons in hell from dmcRE has Zombies, human-plant hybrids, human-sea creature hybrids, human-insect hybrids etc. it was only a matter of time until enemies who drink blood appear.
And that would be bad how? I mean, okay, any sort of actual "plot" these games have would be laughed at (like it already isn't, I mean), but in exchange we get the Dante/Chris boulder-punching crossover of a lifetime.I mean given all that something resembling vampires isn't Impossible. I haven't pre-ordered a game since... Well, the last RE game I pre-ordered, out of necessity, was the GC RE4 North American release. It was a game with a lot of hype behind it and express shipping a crate of them from the US to Scandinavia meant limited copies. Pre-ordering is stupid. I'm still considering it just to have it done and pre-load it. I don't even remember the last time I played a game on release. The "100 naked witches in a castle" makes a lot more sense when you realize they were probably trying to invoke a lot more of the old Renaissance-era folklore about witches and some of the earlier and less known works in the Gothic tradition.

IIRC, the original descriptions of vampires were decaying, bloated, shambling corpses that fed on the flesh and blood of the living. Aside from the fairly specific things you had to do to prevent/destroy one, they weren't so different from "modern" depictions of zombies, which actually are cannibalistic ghouls and not really "zombies".Vampires and zombies aren't really that far removed from one another. yeah, items and enemies are randomized on inferno, read the memoAnyone else getting this weird bug in remake3 where the box containing the red jewel isnt in its location at the donut shop? Playing on inferno difficulty BTW where there's only the item box and no typewriter in there
Edit: found it for some reason inferno difficulty moves it from the donut shop to the substation
