It's great, especially the ending. You guys seen the Kendo cut mod for RE2?
Oh wow Christ this timing. It's great, especially the ending.
On a sadder note, the bloke who made it and the excellent Mortal Night mod was also doing the During the Storm mod, and he disappeared off the face of the earth.

It's a big shame because the demo was excellent and I was looking forward to it.
That was the Gameboy.Except that time where we were on a boat inside a Nintendo DS.
Wasn't that also the one where the monster pretends to be leon for a hot minute. And we get the twist ending where. That was the Gameboy.
RE3 > RE2
No it wasn't.That was the Gameboy.
RE3 > RE2
I mean, I've always found RE6 really fun to play co-op. Mercenaries has also been fun solo.
Never happened. Alternate universe.Gaiden was on Gameboy Color and you played as Barry, Leon also made an
Take it from someone who has played both RE5 and RE6 several times with friends.Take it from someone who tried to play RE 6 with a friend after doing it with RE 5 (we had a blast with that one)
We got fucking surprised at how shit the guns were and my friend began to laugh like a maniac when I said "This is the horror campaign btw" when Leon and Girl were running from explosions on the bridge
Take it from someone who has played both RE5 and RE6 several times with friends.
RE5 always turned into a drag at some point, only to kind of sort of regain its stride near the end (particularly with Mr. COMPLETE. GLOBAL. SATURATION. and boulder-punching) meanwhile RE6 remained fun and entertaining just by virtue of how dumb and ridiculous the whole ride is all the way through.
And lets not forget the invisible giant bug that will one hit kill you if you don't somehow spot and kill him first.RE5 always turned into a drag at some point, only to kind of sort of regain its stride near the end...
No, I get that RE6 isn't everyone's cup of tea and I certainly don't expect it to be.I guess its all a matter of subjectivity then because you and your buddies have the reverse opinion.
It just happened my friend and I had more fun and felt like the guns of 5 had their unique differences instead of the pea shooters 6 has. (Also we had this stupid but funny thing where I would go around hitting people with the stun rod while shouting random shit like "by the power of underaged drinking!" before charging to certain doom)
Again, its 100% to disagree with me, Im just saying that for us two, 6 just didnt do the trick.
And lets not forget the invisible giant bug that will one hit kill you if you don't somehow spot and kill him first.

That said, you can improve the gunplay considerably by buying and upgrading Firepower skill. Same with improving the handling by upgrading Lock-On, among other skills.
Even I forget how crucial skill builds are to the enjoyment of the game until I go back and play them again.
I fucking hated "The Family" angle in RE6, it was a shining example of stupid in a game chock full of dumb plot twists. So naturally, Capcom just had to go with that. Some people have pointed out that there's a symbol glimpsed in the RE4 Remake trailer, not seen in the original game, of either 4 hands or 4 wings, which is similar to a 4 wings emblem seen in RE8, it also makes me think of the 4 lords of the Village and the 4 red parts of the Umbrella emblem, which was seen in the village.
So not only does it seem like Capcom is wanting to connect RE4 and RE8, but the implication clearly seems to be there's some Illuminati like secret society who's maybe been behind everything all along? And maybe the Los Illuminados are a branch of this group instead of their own singular group, Miranda was also likely a member of whatever this group is, at least at one time.
Said group is also probably behind The Connections because how did they find out about the mold in the first place?
Capcom already toyed with this idea with "The Family" in RE6 but I doubt they'll reference anything in RE6 directly and this is probably a separate group, just a similar idea.
What's interesting to note is there were only THREE founders of Umbrella, but we're seeing this reoccurring element of the number 4, could there have been a secret fourth founder of Umbrella all along?

They announced re8 dlc at e3 last year. It was like, the only thing they announced. Did they cancel the dlc?It seems that Capcom decided to not make any extra content for Village, thats a bummer, RE 7 had legit good stuff.
