There are people in the US who do carry openly depending on law or state but personally I think it's kind of dumb and draws too much attention to ones self.
I'm quite pro-gun, and I think that unless you are Police/military if you open carry you are some sort of sperg. It's not the Far West anymore.

I mean to be fair, Claire and Jill having guns were during a time during both 90s and 2000s when girls with guns were considered badass
Tbh girls with guns can be still badass, if done well.

Yes they can and not shoehorn in lefty political agenda
True.

I also remember when some people raged about how they changed Claire and Jill's default outfits, but tbh I thought they fit more with the realistic setting.

Kinda a moot point because Ada still wears quite a dress and if you wish you can toggle Jill and Claire original outifts on.

Im surprised capcom hasnt killed the meme by mentioning it in game. Also these comments are triggering my RE autism. How the hell do you not recognize what that last piece of music is? Literally the second track you hear when starting RE4.

Speaking of playing the games, am I the only one who "loses steam" and the willingness to play in the later sections of all RE games?

I don't know why but I enjoy the early to mid-game, and when I reach the later stages I either slough through them, abandon the title or start a new game.

Might just be a you problem, although I fully anticipate someone else might come in behind me and talk about how most of the RE games all have weak late stages.

Frankly, if I can start reaching the final beats, that's when I'm absolutely locked in to finish the games. Mid-game is usually where the slog comes in for me.

That's what I feel, mostly because they are all generic lab settings.

Some titles do have extremely long middle stages. The castle from original RE4 alone takes almost half of the game, even though it's not that bad.

I loathed Chris' section on Rockfort, it felt like a blatant game lenghtner.

That's why I like RE5 better than RE4. you can just replay some sections in RE5, while you have to play the whole game again in RE4. also, RE5 has the better merenaries, specially no mercy mode.

On my old PS3 I had made a save for every chapter start on RE4.

I genuinely dislike RE5 more than RE4 including its Mercenaries mode. Which is weird because the 3DS Mercenaries game is built on RE5 as a framework and I loved that.

You forget how niche OG RE4 is despite it being one of the most sold/played games of all time. Normalfags don't play RE, they only played the new remakes, so if it didn't play in the new one, it might as well not exist. They only know about RE5 because of the memes

I honestly think the meme would thrive even more if it was mentioned or implied.

Like if Chris mentioned something like " I gotta continue my legacy" I would cheer

Reminder that only Jill is the one that benefitted from Spencer's goal for youth and immortality.
She sure did, just look how young she looks in Death Island.
Same youthful appearance and even the same clothing as RE3 remake (set in 1998).
It's as if they just reused the same model and.... oh.

Double post, but speaking of Jill and RE3 remake - for all the flaws of the game, I can't help but like how they wrote Jill and her facial animations.

Just look when Nikolai shoots Murphy's brain in her face, how her expression changes from shock to anger. Or when she makes that "fuck it" angry smile when she caves in to the help the mercs save the civilians.

People also complained about her "bitchiness" - but really she gets mean with the mercs and even then only early on, before she bonds with Carlos and Tyrell.
With Brad, her squadmate, she outright begs for him to not stay behind; with Dario she's nothing but polite even when the guy acts like an asshole (after she's a police officer) and even with Mikhail on their first encounter she acts fairly respectful when she sees how wounded he is.

Jill's default outfits
Jill's outfit blows because she's the same bad bitch design we see in everything now. Tank top, pants, short brown hair. Totally forgettable, the only way they could make it more forgettable is if she used a fucking bow and arrow.

It's more she just doesn't feel like Jill in general. Jill was very straight laced and professional, especially in 3. In Remake she's saying retarded shit like "Bitch can't even swim." And all the lines that would have been accurate and badass got shunted out of the way or cut entirely.

Claire didn't get it as bad. She is still kind of gentle and motherly in Remake and only gets shitty in reasonable circumstances.
