Felt like it's something that could be touched on a third Outbreak game if it was made or maybe left the door open for future plots in the main entries to return to RC somehow.

Either way, as is, it didn't go anywhere and it feels like a teaser to a stillborn setup
Im pretty sure the Netflix series I mentioned infinite darkness covered the aftermath of that. With the U.S military attempting to weaponize t virus zombies in the middle east and do some shady shit. It actually starts off cool but eventually they run out of a budget and it gets cliche stupid

Is this the same Netflix series with black Wesker, written by a communist, one that mentions 4chan and nyaa, and the one that later got cancelled?
lmao

He also turns into dollar store Blade.
It's so bad that you might actually gain a surprising sense of respect for the Paul W.S. Anderson version for at least researching the games they adapted.
And Zootopia porn, they mentioned that too.
Also, Decadence, a surprisingly underrated anime.

Oh, definitely. They're garbage, don't get me wrong, but at least you can laugh at how bad they are. They're like someone's fanfiction brought to the silver screen, so to speak.
The Netflix one was trying to be taken seriously. Just like every other piece of western slop these days, every dipshit that makes a Netflix adaptation think they're the new George Lucas and that they will revolutionize cinema by pouring their vision onto a popular IP. It never works out for them.

I'm nearly at the end of RE5. It really has terrible boss fights. The bat is one of the worst in the series, which is ironic since the bat fight in Zero is abysmal too.

It is nice to be able to aim the gun and have it hit where you put the laser and not have to wait on a arbitrary amount of time for no reason for it to be accurate like the faggot remakes. The shooting is also better than RE4 and it feels more precise, and it's easy to get pinpoint accuracy with headshots even when moving the gun quickly.

It kind of worked for RE2 because you could argue that Leon and Claire are people with barely any sort of gun training and thus their shots wouldnt be accurate like those of trained individuals like STARS. Nvm the stress of the situation would affect anyone's aim.

It kind of doesnt work RE3 onwards tho.

I can agree with that and it kinda works with the tight quarters of RE2 to increase the difficulty and most enemies are slow anyway. But Leon shouldn't have to wait at all to be the Terminator to get pinpoint shots by RE4.

I love Outbreak and it's formula; It's so simple yet full of charm.

Throw a bunch of simple, but colorful characters into a dire situation and have them work together, sadly though, i can imagine the way these characters would be butchered if brought up today.

Kevin (Cocky Cop with the 'tude): Turned into an incompetent wise-cracking loser, or blackwashed into a stoic, quiet bore.

Cindy (Disney Princess Waitress): Fat and "wholesome". Not quite girlboss but "i'm NOT a princess that needs to be rescued!"

Mark (Grizzled Veteran Security Guard): Honestly? He might be left as is. Maybe make him gay with that partner of his that does during the first case.

Jim (Chris Tucker): This nigga MOIST. This nigga ZESTY. This nigga SWEET.
If Mark goes gay then Jim goes full blown faggot. Might actually get whitewashed.

Alyssa (Bitchy Journalist): Oh my God... Where do i even begin...?

First of all she's getting melaninated, either black or hispanic. Bitchiness upscales into girlboss. Westernized with a square-jaw and huge eyebrows. Goes front and center in the boxart and becomes the clear dev favorite. Also a lesbian.

David (Angry Plumber with a Mysterious Past): Might actually be left as is, like with Mark. Vaguely ethnic (Italian? Hispanic?) man with caucasian features who's probably becoming eye candy for the audience. At first i thought they'd turn him indian but absolutely no one finds indian men attractive.

George (Quiet but Dependable Doctor): This guy will get killed on the first scene. He's as white as white can be and i don't think the devs can handle that.

Yoko (Shy Foreign Student): She will fucking love science. She will never shut the fuck up. She will be the quirky lememe-lord constantly spouting references and tension ruining quips. Will become transgender or non-binary.

I feel like replaying the originals after writing this.

With the long weekend, I've gotten the itch to play on the private servers again. I only play File 2 since it's the better of the two. I usually play Desperate Times and End of the Road, with splashes of Showdown 3.

Wish my dumb laptop could handle that... Being able to play it again with other people sounds great.

Desperate Times is the Police Department stage right? Yeah, that's my favorite from File 2, End of the Road being second. A much better final stage than Decisions, Decisions.

My PC is a piece of shit but I can run it fine. I'll usually play it 2-3 hours and just repeat those scenarios with the boss rush showdown.

Yeah, it's the RPD level. It's so stupid that there's nerve gas in the police station lol but whatever, it's a mechanic that keeps you from lingering in areas that are not the main hall and front gate. To me it's the most fun of the scenarios since it ends with the zombie siege at the end, and on very hard, if you're not prepped enough you're completely fucked. Several dozen times I've done it with just one other player. I always pick Kevin or a Kevin type, get a pistol and just do pot shot criticals over and over while they melee. Not Kevin types hogging pistols and ammo is so fucking retarded. If you're Alyssa, that's fine since she can do the same thing with potshots.

Decisions, Decisions was always a mess to play and I always got lost on what to do since I have very little experience with it. End of the Road is much more straight forward.

I replayed OG RE3 last night and all it did was remind me of how much I fucking hate RE3 Remake Jill Valentine. Her old personality was so much more likeable. Miss her having a deeper voice too.

Nigger, take that back
