She cut his hand off at the beginning of the game. He had no fucking clue what a bioweapon was at that point.
The Raccoon City incident was covered up and the reason for it given to the public was a terrorist attack or accidental leak.

Explain China, whispering oaks, terragrigia and other instances of bioterror. There's literally fucking government NGOS that are the unflinching mop that wipes up bioterrorism.

It's absurd how inferior Nemenose is over the original.
We were robbed of this.

Well time to see what this 30th anniversary will be having.

Still optimistic they port most missing canon RE + non-canon for the sake of preservation and PC compatibility, yet most importantly NO FUCKING DRM attached to them. Will they dare to actually announce RE5R? Or more importantly RE:CV ?

They for sure are releasing a ton of 30th anniv merch like this baby right here:

I didn't hate Nu-Nemesis design, sure the heads weird and not as good as the og, but I liked his "stapled to the body constricting wrap that just happens to look like a trenchcoat" look, and his artificial 2nd heart echoing the T-102's 2nd composite heart made from other animals.

And he's always bowed up in pure fucking rage with his forearms and knuckles just ready for violence.

Oh people know those happen, but knowing and "knowing" are two completely different things, Bioterrorism is likely just like Terrorism in real life, its distant, and too abstract to your average 9 to 5 worker bee, its something interesting and terrifying that happens somewhere else, and the particulars are likely very grim so people who aren't interested don't peel much into them.

Tall Oaks? President got killed in a Terrorist attack!, is what people would think, but they wouldn't go into fine detail on all the creepy B.O.W.s, its just something normies avoid.
I mean have you ever tried to bring up the awful shit people do to each other in Africa or the Middle east, even when its on topic? no one wants to think of unpleasant things that are normies, they avoid anything that busts them out of their daily routine, even thoughts, like the plague.

See, we're gonna have to agree to disagree, this ties into one of my only criticisms with 7, being the ghost hunters. In a world where BOWS exist, I'm not gonna go to Uncle toms abandoned fuck cabin and try to piss off ghosts when who knows what's out there.

You wouldn't. But you're not standard template of all humanity.
Some people are built different, call them lolcows if it makes it easier for you.
Just pretend that lolcows exist in REverse and they get themselves killed for social media numbers.

I haven't played the original or the first remake. I just hope they keep this RE engine and don't force the set camera angles. Not just on my account, I don't think that would sell very good today.

This is the current fad among indie horror. fixed camera, bad PS1 graphics filter. That's the dominant horror genre outside of generic TPS shooters. It has completely replaced the walking sim now. And Capcom will chase popular trends. It would be shocking if we didn't see a fixed camera or a fixed camera option. RE8 could be a test for a fixed camera option by designing a game with 2 camera systems in mind.

Influences are fucking stupid and want to be famous. Any sort of abandoned building exploration comes with the risk of homeless dudes killing you, catching mega aids from a dirty needle you step on. The list of dangerous shit people do for internet fame is endless.

Nah. This is modern capcom we're talking about. They half-ass things and or cut content to be cheapskates (gator fight in 2R was toned down and nearly cut, 3R in general, all of the asset reuse in later mainline games, won't re-hire actors once they go union). To expect them to put forth the effort to at the very least include a fixed-camera mode is asking too much.

I do love Ground Zero from the demo I played (both routes). Now that I think about it, the fact that it's fully prerendered almost feels like a middle finger to the current AAA landscape as it means the game can't be modded to be OTS or first person. Compare that with the newest games where the opposite is true.

I'm sick of those shitty graphics and VHS aesthetics. It was cute at first then people latched onto it because they realized they can just half ass the fuck out of making it look halfway decent and just say "erm the game takes place in 1994 soo of course it's shitty camcorder quality!" It's the same vein of laziness that created shit like the Backrooms. Capcom isn't gonna risk the biscuit because of some lazy fucks that make cheap ass indie games.

We have RE7 because they ripped off walking sims. They added minor gun play to it so it would be more mainstream.

I've finished RE 7. The setting was OK but the story wasn't that good, I wanted to end when I reached the ship. The reveal about the wife felt like they merged 2 different stories into one.
