Again, politics.
Taiwan would probably be sensitive to censorship pressures and would be insulted by American attempts to force censorship on them. The people themselves don't consider themselves tranny allies and probably won't get shamed into dropping a site that has reciepts. A network attack against Taiwan would heighten stress from the upcoming conflict between america and China and may have even more widespread repercussions.
But I'm talking from an outsider perspective. @MMS-China might have a much better idea of how things would play out.

My understanding is that the kiwifarms.net domain is currently temporarily parked on a registrar (who I won't name because people get pissy about that and think it helps the troons) and will be back fully once Null's choice registrar is available.

The temporary registrar was also the registrar for a Something Awful offshoot forum specifically for being racist so they don't appear as bitchmade as some of the others.

is that the far.ms domain for some reason when i type it into my post it changes to .net

Since 2020, I've observed that there's a contingent of extremely online Hacker News users with old, high-karma accounts aligned with transgenderism + antifa + reddit leftism. They immediately mass-flag any remotely conservative or gender-skeptic opinion regardless of adherence to HN community guidelines. HN moderator dang is either overloaded and never corrects these false reports or he agrees with the troons and lets them slide. It's had a tremendously chilling effect on what gets said and what makes it to the front page.

The troons' comments also suck ass, often simply regurgitating dumb leftist Twitter memes, come packed with all sorts of false assumptions which you get banned for addressing ("stay on topic! don't get political!") and are full of the reddit snark HN was intended to escape, so there's that.

This has pretty much all been said in the HN Community Watch thread but I figured other kiwis might not know. HN, by the way, is the de facto tech industry front page.

there is a reason why the first target was cloudflare without their protection he is free to send endless DDoS attacks in ways that will serve to upset the actual service providers and give them an excuse to blackhole the site or just outright remove it. overall his method of attack seems to be entirely focused on annoyance and harassment.

there is absolutely nothing else he can do short of showing up to nulls house and challenging him to mortal kombat. either way this cannot go on forever all we have to do is defend as long as it takes.

Exactly. NoDong doesn't have infinite resources. It seems the winning strat is to endure and run down the clock. Defending something you love will always be stronger than attacking something you hate. It's true for war and it's true here.
