I've always been a bit wary of KF being hosted by Epik. They've had issues with security in the past and I don't trust them. I was expecting the eventual trouble to be them getting hacked or (another) massive data breach of some kind though, not them terminating service. Now there's even less reason to use them now that they can no longer call themselves the "we'll host you if literally no one else will touch you with a ten foot barge pole" people.

TBH I began digging on epik after this and they've lost huge numbers of customers and registrations a month for the past year due to shoddy service.
People would register, end up in Epik's "queue", and their domains would expire while waiting for the "queue".
They've been losing registrations via voluntary departure at the rate of 30k to 60k a month.

The whole company is likely to go under before the farms does.
