Getting people to take ten minutes to buy a money order and put a stamp on an envelope is hard enough but nobody will do it if they don't even realize it's an option so I'll repeat it enough times as needed.

If you can get Fiat up and running in a manner that is secure and reasonably anonymous i will use this as my opportunity to become a true and honest fan.

This option already exists, purchase a money order with fiat and mail it by snail mail to lolcow LLC.

USPS tops out at 1k. You can always buy multiple, just have to pay the fee for each.

More info on this process, if you have it handy, would be appreciated for us old-timers. I did crypto once to Null, it was a pita and I'd rather just send a damn money order out. I will commit $100 and have to hit the bank this week anyway.

Basically, supermarkets sell prepaid Visa or MasterCards, you can purchase them with cash if you so desire.

Spoiler: The process

You will lose money as these cards often have a flat cost or an associated activation cost, however, they do occasionally sell for up to 15% off which means you get a little more than what you paid for.

Then you can simply email the activation detail to Null. I'm sure he can find a way to turn it into money. I know Revolut used to allow deposits from these cards, however, I have also read that such card providers have been attempting to block the service.

I wouldn't say this method is 100% anonymous. Supermarkets have CCTV cameras of you purchasing the card, the card activation can be cross referenced to that specific time at that specific counter, and it may or may not be possible to force your email provider into giving the details, so always use an alter ego email address.

What you're doing is 100% legal though, so why would this happen?

Or there's always the option of mailing money wrapped in tin foil placed inside of a birthday card. I don't endorse this though, what if it gets lost?

I got out of crypto last year, it was too fucking annoying to deal with in my taxes, so, I would prefer a way to sanely donate by fiat, tbh I would not be too upset with putting my name to this cause as I do trust Null to be safe with that information.

My concern with a money order, if accepted from a non-US address, is that they will charge me out the asshole for postage and currency conversion.

Epik LLC has made two claims on X :
1) They were forced to put a clientHold on kiwifarms.net by Law Enforcement, which we evaded by moving the domain out of the country.
2) That the Kiwi Farms "hosts child porn".

These are both false, and these are both instances of actionable per se defamation. The damage of these claims is inherent in the claim and they are already being parroted by adversaries for the purposes of trying to further erode our ability to find stability and sure footing on the Internet.

Epik is a Wyoming LLC, X is a California LLC, and Kiwi Farms is a West Virginia LLC. To pursue this, I would have to find a lawyer in one of these jurisdictions. I don't know any.

Taking a case to trial is at least $75,000. However, they would be able to pay because they are a big company, and this would be an amazing step for being able to show providers: Yes, we are legal, and yes, we are taking steps to remedy actionable defamation to the contrary.

I've put up a poll. I am already dealing with litigation and saving money for another case. Would the community itself actually want to finance litigation?


Edit: I will find a way to get fiat working so you don't need crypto, but special crypto wallets can also be set up.
