We need a good simple write up about this that can be shared on social media that wont instantly get shut down by people saying 'fuck kiwi farms' too. Theres no way to fit all of this into 288 characters.

It's hard to get more simple than

Epik, the site's former domain registrar, had a rep say that US authorities shut down the site (they didn't) and that it happened because the site contains CSAM (it's a 19 year old pedo posting his own nudes).

You can maybe try usual slogan techniques to see what sticks but if "I am being falsely maligned as a child pornographer" doesn't get people's sympathetic ear then I'm not sure what will.

Is there a thread for Epik yet? The more I look at this, the more I see some guy on the Twitter account trying to kill the company on purpose. It's like he's deliberately trying to kill the customer base. Outside of screaming nigger in all capital letters over and over, I can't say I think I've seen a series of tweets so destructive to a company's own reputation. It's like a landscaping product company saying they won't sell to companies that hire Mexicans. Just fucking retarded.

Kiwi Farms is a US-legal website that does not engage in or condone criminal activity. It has been defamed a a purveyor of CSAM by Epik LLC.

I mean the names are fun as a nickname, I'm sure Josh will just pick something very corporate as the actual legal name of the fund. Defamation Defense Fund/Legal Defense Fund/Internet Defense Fund etc, no reason to be creative with it.
But finding a fun informal name isn't the worst pastime

I agree, we should keep the name 2-3 words and have it detached from us and all the memes we're aware of internally.

It should also have a nice abbreviation.
The advantage is 4 words is that one can easily spell out catchy words with the abbreviation, but the full thing gets harder to remember so I'll stick to 3.

Speak Up Fund is a nice one. SUF is easy to remember.

- Protect Legal Speech (PLS, I really like this)
- Express Freely (EF)

I don't think Epik believes there will be any consequences at all for their behavior. I think they believe the entire world is opposed to Kiwi Farms and that what they are doing cannot be perceived as anything but just and right. And when reality rains on that parade, they'll start in on blaming racism and bigotry.
